Heh. Well, I do have pretty good eyesight, but I think there were also some other earlier "leaks" that showed some of these same individual model pics in higher resolution. I don't remember where though. A Google search doesn't show much. Well, I'll make a zoomed in version at least.

Actually, Thargoids have been harvesting humans for years. They need our arms/hands for the dexterity we provide in order to build machines. They don't need the rest of the human body - just the arms and hands. They need to be replaced every 5 or 6 days as the tissue degenerates. They still don't realize that keeping them attached to a living body keeps the arms/hands alive longer.

I heard they don't provide any pain killers as they remove the limbs. That's what I've heard, any way. So they tell me. Not that I want to make anyone nervous, that is. Some guy in a bar in some star port said that if they get you, there's no rebuy, either. Sure hope he's wrong. 👀

I'd be suprised if the leaked image is a final version; the facial aspect might be missing because they still haven't finished concept art for it, having made a good job of the body.

I hope there are many different forms, anyway - workers, warriors, queens, male drones, grubs etc..

I sense viral Marketing to keep the wheel turning... and not to give too much away, just something to test reactions at a very early stage. FD knows what they‘re doing.

Yes, they'll probably have FPS action that works.

This isn't viral marketing. Not with stock and reporting laws that need to be adhered to. I can't see Braben as the type to monkey around with stuff like that and risk a fine and a black eye. Nobody who would want to sell this expansion would leak it 18 months ahead of time on 4chan and think that would assist marketing.

Yes I can see it, but what I meant was it looks a bit fleshy for want of a better word and would benefit being more exoskeleton-y or chitinous IMO.

Yeah, looks a bit too much like the typical unnatural human skin used to unnerve people with alien and undead creature types in media these days.

Not bad, but I might well prefer something a little more interesting, especially considering they apparently have different basic chemistry and environmental conditions than we do.
