I tried to make the title not-completely-boring. Anyway, could y’all sneak a quick bump to heatsink ammo reserves into your next patch? Or...the one after next, if the next one is already planned out?
For one thing, it’s irritating how (after engineering) heatsinks come in packages of 4, but shield cells come in packages of 5. Is that the 34th-century version of hot dogs and hot dog buns?
More than that, though, it’s irritating that, when I grab my Krait and go to do my patriotic duty by fighting back the xeno menace, I’ve gotta either ditch the xeno scanner, or sacrifice a shield booster/heatsink launcher.
The first choice is hands-down the best option, but it’s inconvenient enough to be annoying. It’s been years, so I don’t see why basic xeno-scanning for combat purposes can’t be made standard, like the discovery scanner.
Barring that, can’t ya just give us 3-4 more heatsinks in a launcher’s ammo reserves so I don’t have to bring two along? It just irks me.
That’s...after engineering, by the way. If you added 3-4 before the reserves, and that one engineering option raised those reserves by 50%...well, that would be almost too much of a good thing.
