Please help us to 'Destroy The Emperor's 'Shadow Cell' @ Ch'i Lin System AND BOUNTY HUNT WHATEVER YOU CAN DO against the Emperor.

Only a bit more than 50% of Tier 1 reached and only 4 days left.

Go for it.

REGISTER @ Fallows Orbitabl and BH @ Ch'i Lin 4 for example. The Conflict Zone is full of Emeror's händlängers. Choose the right side (Ch'i Lin United Corp.) @ the CZ and get your credits right away.

I tried as much as I could. 9 mio Warbond so far - top 15%. Just feels they overestimated the participation.

In case new commanders feel insecure about CZ/CG a small starter guide to help:

- Go to Fallows Orbital in Ch'i Lin system. Buletin Board to join the Community Goal (it's the white mission on top - don't go to the CZs before signing up)
- check for additional Combat Missions with target "Emperor's Dawn" .. sometimes there are, sometimes there aren't
- head to the Low (!) Activity Combat Zone (about 30 ls away, really quick hop over - there is/were some other CZs that did not contain Emperor's Dawn ships)
- Shield Cells / Chaffs / Point Defence or ECM are useful (and so is knowledge when/how to use them)
- once you drop into the Combat Zone, if you want to play it safe, move *away* from the combat zone marker. About 10-15 km away at the edge of the fighting ships
- nothing should fire on you, if you have not picked any sides, so you can have a look around and see the balance of "emperor's dawn" ships vs. the opponents ships (try to find an area with more opponent ships)
- go to the right panel, last option where you can pick sides .. you need to pick the side that is not "emperor's dawn"
- as soon as you've picked that, your allies will be green and the enemy will be red marks on your radar

- Try starting with 2 allies vs. 1 enemy corners. These are the easiest and fastest. Ships are incredibly tanky in the CZ, a lot more than RES or Pirates
- mind your surroundings, try to have more allies than enemies around you, this will help you not to draw aggro from a random ship or even get focus fired on

Easiest ships (can be module sniped easiely): Python, Clipper, Cobra and Viper MK 3 - easiest in general Imperial Courier/Eagle/Fighter
Mid difficulty ships (can be module snipe, but not as esiely): Vulture, Viper MK 4, ASP explorer
Not really worth the hassle imo are Cutters. I saw a Cutter shield/hull tank 7 enemy ships for minutes (and I mean around 10ish minutes from full/full to exploding). Hard to module snipe and some of them manouver really well. Only 80k reward.

Hope this helps a little . Worked my way up from around 200k before I had to return to base to a solid 1-2 mio in the last few runs.

If you're friendly/allied with the Empire, both sides will be friendly/allied to you. :)

since my anaconda is still badly undrpowered I gonna bring my courier. It's fun in CZ but very disappointing that supporting empire aligned minor factions in CZ vs non empire aligned opponents does not gain you standing.

I think FD have set these goals too high intentionally.
I believe that they need these CGs to fail because they have a lot more life left with the BGS regarding the Emperors Danw

The goals are not too high, the participation is just really low (or "as low as any other CG where people were complaining that Surpercruising to some 400k from drop point station is not "fun"?). 3k participants and many of them with maybe one run ist just not enough.

If you stick to my "safe approach" posted above, you don't even need a specially combat equipped ship to participate.
I've done CZs in an ASP. It's very slow but possible. Mainly lacking firepower and hull tankyness (so once the shields are down, get out of there).
The "worse" the ship, the higher the challenge and funner the CZ actually (just doesn't work very well for hourly profit - could get 4x as much Res farming)

I've managed about 2m, will try to do some more. I also signed up to the other two and handed in about 800k between them but I think they're a lost cause.

Good to see some of you are interested. I go to the high cz in my vulture. Its really not to hard if your careful. I get around 2m credits roughly each time i go there. I find myself that the pythons, clippers and couriers the easiest specially if you get close and target powerplant. The vultures take some time. The cutters only go for if their busy fighting others as they can take a beating. And remember if your taking an absolute hammering frameshift out repair at station which is only about 26ls away hand in bonds then get back to it. Its definitely upping my standing and combat rank.

Good luck cmdrs and go get the dawn.

400k what? its 400kLs between the station and the CZ?

I'm TOP 15% with almost 10 Mio. Credits. But to be honest, I really can't invest more time. I have a job to do, not playing computer 12 hours a day.
I think the goal is too high. Almost 1.1 Bn. Credits so far and still not more than 50%. Pfffffffff ...

I work too. I get about 2 hrs a day in. Global profit is above 10,000,000,000 now.

I have been working on these CG since day one
I am based in Hirapa and am currently working on the Dacshmandi CG, which has an even worse progression.
Started in Ch'i Lin because of the ceasefire bug. Left Ch'i Lin when bug was fixed in top15%, now in top 40%
Lost my battle Anaconda to a couple of elite pythons and an elite Vulture at a cost of 20mil cr,could have combat logged but chose not to.

I'm not saying that the GC is too difficult, but we have 3 CGs running at the same time, with little to no chance of completing one even if all Cmdrs concentrated on only one.
I believe that if we wipe out Emperor's Dawn now that will be the end of this story line

No 26ls maybe less takes stuff all time to get there.
If anyone is interested this is the loadout I'm running http://coriolis.io/outfit/vulture/2....AwRj4zyA.AwhMI4EZIhmIA===?bn=the source 0179

Spread the word and get in there.

So we don't need cargo space? we just kill stuff and get merrits we later deliver? What if a wing kills a single guy, do merrits get divided or does everyoneget the same amount? because if so, balling up as wing would speed up stuff a lot.

400k what? its 400kLs between the station and the CZ?

That was referring to some of the old CGs.
The Ch'i Lin one is all close together.
Station is only a few LS from the jump-in point and Low CZ is just about 30-40 LS from the station.

I have my FAS parked there and hop over every now and then to get some pew pew.

Cmdrs need to give up on the other 2 and concentrate on ch'i lin one. If cmdrs left the other 2 and concentrated just on chi lin it may be possible and the story would go on because the other 2 sites still have the dawn.
