Here's my idea for how Baby dinosaurs should be added

The big reason why Frontier doesn't have any plans for this to happen is probably due to how hard it would be to do so, says the same guys who made Planet Zoo. But hey, Planet Zoo and JWE2 are different kinds of games, and Zoo was just easy for them, so my idea here is to make adding badies in Jurassic World Evolution 2 more easy.

Hatcheries would now have three stages; the synthesising and incubating stages would remain, with the third stage, the raising stage, being new. It's use is to make the dinosaurs fully grown, and that's it. The babies would still be releasable, however, they would need to be either in a Petting Zoo (If that gets added too) or with an adult in order to survive.

Not all species would have a baby, only around 20 would for now, and most of them would be from the movies and Camp Cretaceous since they are already baby models made for Frontier to recycle, while more would get their own baby models made/recycle for later updates/dlcs, and no dinosaur will be able to breed, making it more easier for Frontier to add them.

and one more thing: Unless they get added in a expansion pack, the babies would only be Sandbox exclusive, so you won't be able to have them in any campaign mode, challenge mode, nor
Chaos Theory, until a expansion pack where the babies play a big part of it does come. because of that, the babies will also not glow up for now, since it be too difficult to animate.

I've always wanted breeding and nesting with baby dinosaurs, I've suggested it many times here on the forum. What I can tell you is that if they were to add such a thing, it would have to be in all the species in the game and would only be possible with dinosaurs and pterosaurs. The lagoons wouldn't support a large population of animals, yet I've already thought of something. In Planet Zoo it's possible to sterilize the animals manually. If this were added to the dinosaurs and other reptiles in the game (including the marine ones), it would be easier to control populations and you could solve the problem of overcrowding without tranquilizing animals all the time. You could just sterilize your dinosaurs with one click. With male and female dinosaurs functioning in a breeding mechanic, it would be a great opportunity to not only add baby dinosaurs, but also expand the behaviors of dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles. As you said, I think this mechanic would be better used in sandbox mode. If Frontier really wants to make this game even more alive, this would be a great opportunity.

An even simpler way would be to have them as variants that don't grow up.

Expansions would be the best bet, seeing there's few variants/skins left (assuming there's any more planned). Microceratus seems likely for the next one, so a couple extra small guys fits in pretty well with it.

A Petting Zoo/Walkthough section of an exhibit for Small animals and juvenile variants would be a good thing. I'd imagine some similarities with the recent sandbox setting, though making that localised seems maybe problematic (guest-dinosaur interactions of some sort might be cute too).

They already said they have no plans for any as late as March, when Jens responded to a question about a Yutyrannus picture.

If there will be any, I doubt they would be something like the actual dinosaur entities. They might just be “petting zoo” or whatever attractions, or even decorations. If they added the dino dung as a least expected decorative object, god-knows what else they might do that’s completely unexpected, like maybe Velociraptor nests (with eggs) and/or an animated baby Stegosaurus in a patch of moss and ferns, both from the two Site B JP trilogy sequels, in a Site B themed expansion?

Yeah, the best way to introduce baby dinosaurs would be a Site B expansion. Along with breeding mechanic can we gain new contracts...for example, capturing eggs for research (challenge, as the parents will attack and try to destroy the vehicles), photos of dinosaur families

Animatronics don't really have a place in the original vision, though Hidden Adventure did go that way. Only being available as a place-able does devalue it a bit, even the long loop animation of the JWE1 Aviary does too a little (reducing that to a 2D path also makes the loop a bit harder to hide).

The easiest way to have them in the game is just to have select species have baby models in the game. It would be purely cosmetic. No growth stages. Just skins based on the models from the movies.

I don't think Frontier should add babies in this game at all.

I know that many people want them, and I do too, but it would either be too hard to program or not nice enough.

So what I'm thinking, is if they make a 3rd game, adding baby dinosaurs into that.

Then they would have a much cleaner and better platform and then they could even add reproduction and growth.

Agreed
