Patch Notes Update Horizons 2.0 Beta Change Log

FD Staff is busy patiently waiting for the finishing wax to put a nice shine on the big, red "launch beta" button before pressing it, but he's stuck in traffic at the moment. A bit of trivia: The launch button is located right in-between the order pizza and crash server buttons - this is tricky business here, not something to rush.

not available yet. Chill it will show up on your launcher if you have the latest. The only people the need to download the launcher are those that use steam and purchased horizon beta access.

I'm not quite grokking the update process here. I have the new loader, it showed I had the 32 bit client installed. In un-installed the 32 bit client, anticipating the ability to install a new 64 bit version. I'm not seeing that, and so, right now, I cannot update to Horizons :/

What am I missing?

The Horizons launcher isn't released yet, you'll find it under My Downloadable Products on the frontier store.

You need the new Horizons 64 bit launcher (which isn't quite ready yet) from your downloadable products in your account page.

I expect the beta and the old 32 bit client will run happily alongside. No reason to un-install...

Why are people uninstalling the 32bit client?
What we are waiting for is the 64bit Horizons beta client, completely separate to the current game.
Please do not get them confused.

How where did you get the new 64 bit launcher ?

My launcher wont even udate so that I can play Horizon

I'm a beta backer and have purchased lifetime expansion pass(£120) so I believe I'm intitle to play the beta version of horizon as well am I wrong ?
