Which is almost always the case as not enough people play (by a HUGE margin) to replace every NPC in the game in every possible instance.

To replace almost every NPC Elite would need a playerbase of millions. Which as cool as that would be, its never going to be the case.

Pretty sure it would take trillions or quadrillions of players to even approach a realistic size galaxy population for just the bubble.

And the sad part is, almost all of them would be in Sol.

It is literally impossible for a computer to do realistic calculations on the level required to perfectly simulate a galactic economy. This game does a good enough job.

Deleting all of the NPC's in Elite is a stupid, stupid idea.

If you want to know what it would end up like, go lock yourself in a closet and hum the game's music.

The game would be so much better if the space would populated with actually real players.

I agree (and play in open 95% of the time), but until there's some kind of real functioning crime/punishment system, many people will remain in solo/private.
