How is Rhea looking?

Its hardly was a secret before. And avoiding mentioned on forums won't stop FDev mission generator changes long in production & testing already. FDev has lot of stats in database and they know exactly when some players earn income in top percentile - so they immediately can drill to logs and see where it comes from.

They usually prepare to cull sources of "get rich quickly" before it has a chance of blowing up - since development cycle actually takes long time.

Look at rhea, it's been a place to get lots of credits for a long time, it just got popular and a mass amount of people milked it look how quickly it got nerfed. Yea people have their little place's they earn a good amount of credits and you're right fdev does know, but if not a huge amount of people know about it fdev doesn't seem to mind. Only when thousands of players suddenly head to a cash cow then fdev takes action.

This is why I don't bother to ask on forums. I've been really disappointed since smuggling got hit last year. And it didn't make half what some of the new ways have. That was my favorite coinage just because it had good levels of risk. I either felt a sense of accomplishment or like, "I got away with it this time." So now, I look at it this way, "don't ask, don't tell."

There is a website where you can sort stations by "Distance from arrival". Took me all of 20 seconds to find.
Yeah it is easy to find places on there, but you need to do the foot work to find the places that have missions to there. Took me a couple of days traveling and getting at least cordial with multiple systems.

It litteraly took me all of 5 minutes to find a system that worked for me. Tbh i just had no idea anything like this even exsited. Needless to say its nice to see some coinage in my pocket now :D

How do you know? Sure, that could be done, and I also would assume they would do .. but... there is never enough man power and priorities need to be set, as everywhere. They told how they got attention about Rhea and the reaction was not a "generator changes long in production & testing" but a quick hotfix to it.. other occurrences were also not detected by their advanced data mining and (if serious) usually not handled together with release.. so I'm wondering how you got your impression/knowledge?

Unrelated, but to be honest, keeping this (Rhea) like it was prenerf was a little bit too crazy, like you get Elite in few hours is apparently just out of sync .. the way it is now makes more sense, still it is a shame you have to go that route if you want to earn big bucks while most other professions just pale in comparison ..

You shouldn't have mentioned it there's reasons they were being discreet, now someone's gonna check and see if so then they post it on reddit or something and now everyone's there and fdev Nerf transport missions again

It's a good job FDEV don't have access to the database logs of their own game...

Good luck to those who want to make their billions I say...other than sticking Netflix on the mobile phone, as an Xbox player I don’t have the second screen option for these 40 minutes plus journeys (depressingly longer than my commute to work).

I doubt I would even if it was an option though (‘do something to distract youself whilst playing this game’ doesn’t strike me as the optimal path to sanity. Would have trouble explaining the logic of that to the wife too :D).

I’m working towards ranking for the Corvette now and already have enough money to top rate it and that’s still while two ranks away from unlocking it; the game gives you money hand-over-fist as it is, the last couple of ranks netting 100’s of millions alone. I just do this in small instalments to stop it sucking the life out of me.

If you like collecting money, treating it like an old fashioned ‘top score’ counter or have your eyes on one of these future carriers then crack on, but not for me.

Looking quite cute from here...

I know this won't really apply to you since you're on Xbox, but for PC players without a second screen there's a program called OnTopReplica. It's a free program that allows you to output a window where you select the process (whatever movie player you have or webbrowser) to be put on top of whatever you are doing including Elite.

Just as an example of the versatility of those tools, using the system search on the same site:

Sadly it looks like the highest pop systems, Adad & Daramo, are a bit too far away. However, LTT 9455 has 6 stations, a pop of 22M and is very close. Definitely the first place to check although there is also the option of Upsilon Aquarii but as it's a bit further away you'll probably spend a lot more time flipping boards.
