Doing the simple math you would have to do 3688167 CR Per hour for 24 Hours to hit this
Even if they were all anacondas@ 36k that would be 102 anacondas per hour!

People are playing the game the way they choose to. Its probably why they bought this game the hat let's players play the way they want to. You have the option of not playing with them though if you choose. You can play solo or private. Its all about freedom of choice and its a good thing.

Can hardly see how AFK is considered a cheat - how you supposed to put the kettle on, nip to the loo, answer the door etc. without being considered a cheat? Some super cruises take ages and used as an opportunity to do other things.

AFK is not a cheat.

"save and exit".

Sorry but cheating and using exploits is not a "valid gameplay choice" its a violation of the EULA that everyone agreed to upon installing the game and if sufficient evidence is produced they will and should be banned.

Same here.

That has nothing to do with Open. Those people are more than likely doing that in Solo mode. It all connects back to the same galaxy simulation, so if they cheat anywhere it impacts us all.

Frontier needs to change the networking to be a client-server based system instead of peer-to-peer for Open, and they need to aggressively slap cheaters across the face. Stuff like this really hurts the integrity of the game and simulation. :(

No it doesn't, you have the option to remove yourself if you don't like how others play their game that they bought with the expressed intention of playing it their way as advertised.

I wonder why players think that gaining money fast is a good idea.
You get no sense of working for a goal and more important no experience in using tools needed to stay alive with your new flash ship.
Then rage quit when they get killed by someone similar to them or an experienced player.

Good example of this was when I started playing open last year, after building up a ship in solo. Player drop ship trying to take out my Cobra. I do not kill him, but did drive him off. And got the comment "Well played".

Its probably kids. I can remember my cousins when they were 10-15 y-o. EVERY game they got they IMMEDIATELY got all the cheats and usually completed the game in about a couple of days then moved on to another game. They were also ramming b'stards when they played me at Gran Turismo.

And frontier has the right to ban them with no repercussions since they openly violated the EULA. Cheating in multiplayer games is not okay.

Nice to see those caught have had their credits removed from the totals published on the Bulletin Board. I trust they lost the credits in game as well. If not sent to their own instance, a reset to a stock Sidewinder and 100 CR?

Are you honestly defending cheaters?

This is unintended behavior and Frontier already asked for players to report this type of behavior to them. If this were a single player game I wouldn't care what people did, but it's a MMO according to Frontier. That means what anyone does in any mode impacts us all because it feeds back into the galaxy simulation that we all play in.

AFK is not a cheat.

This is your opinion and you have the full right to express it. I know I won't convince you, so I won't even try.

To me it's cheating. It's abnormal use of game mechanics to gain advantage over other players (tip the scale of the CG to your side). That's how I see it.
