Likely timeslots are Saturday afternoons (and into the evening if no other commitments) and Sunday afternoons on non-Grand Prix weekends. Although I also have to fit my OU work around it. So I guess 3 to 6 hours a week while it's still new and exciting. (This is why I don't want it to take thousands of hours to get anywhere!)

There should be an option for "As often as my wife and 2 kids will allow" or "Not as much as I'd like". Realistically I'll get to play for 3 hours a couple of evenings a week.
I might take some holiday at release... so alot!
Once things get back to normal I would probably play for 2 or 3 hours a night. It really depends on how it grips me in terms of time vs progress, if I'm getting frustrated (too hard) or bored (too easy), I'd play less.

Picked 1-2 hrs though I'll want far far more.
The more I can sacrifice the more I can plan. So far TV, sleep, wife, children in that order are on the list to ignore/reduce to maximise play time
TV gets me 1hr. Sleep anywhere from 2-3 hrs (practically). Wife another hr and children another hr. 6hrs a day if I try really hard then

Maybe 2-4 hours every week... That's about how much time I spend in frontier for the moment... And that is quite the maximum amount of game play I have time for. I spend about 10 hours every week programming on personal projects... And maybe 2-3 hours of other private computer related stuff. That's about all private computer time I have every week. And since I hardly going to draw down my programming time I'll probably not play E: D more then those 2-4 hours every week.

Voted 3 but I know if it is good I am very capable of abandoning my life to play a computer game. Did it with Elite, among others, so maybe I will abandon my life for Dangerous.

Indeed. Only 1 kid here and she loves to watch me play, but I'll still not have more gaming time than <1 hour per day on average. I'll probably binge on a couple of weekends after release, however (if the release is before summer when we'll have our weekends full).

Opted for 3 hours a day, life permitting, which on a good week it does. (All depends on other things)
I play usually 2-4 hours a day and lots more at the weekend... although my Mrs is moaning about this so I am 'trying' to limit my playing to a Tuesday, Thursday (her junk TV nights) and a day and night at the w/e.

I will answer after I see what we will be playing, if it is what I expect the game to be .. then the hours I play will be greatly increased ..
