Well I grabbed the explorer pack but then realized I needed the boundary pack too. Ships just aren't ships if you can't see the serial number.
I might get the boundary pack but after waiting nearly three hours for my "Practical" ship nameplates to appear (still waiting after several logouts/logins) I'm in no rush.
I got caught out with the ambiguous wording of the Boundary Package. But I'm happy with just the Ship ID on my hull. Like you say, it makes it more Elite-y
