How to report new Guardian Ruins

I found Brain Trees in neighboring system so i though Guardian Ruins were close.
Did not show up when i used the fss only when i flew to within 1000ls
Just to check, are you saying it's the Guardian Ruins that didn't show up in the FSS? If so, that definitely needs bug reporting! :D

Actually - just to sense check, did you get any FSS results for the body when you scanned it?

The only reason i flew out to map the planet is because is it had biologicals and the ruins showed up when i got less than 1000ls.
Are Ruins supposed to show up in the FSS SCAN ?

Yeah they should show up in 'Locations:' (it's at the top of the body info section in the FSS, not in the 'Features' box.). It should show as 'Guardian (X)', where X is the number of Guardian sites on the body.

There is a lot out here around Nebula NGC 3199 to still find.
I don't know why there are so many Lagrange clouds, I posted a sheet showing some of the found systems here during Stellar Unknown expedition I was on

Ruins still show at infinite distance even without the fss (though probably only in prediscoverd systems, which in this area seems mostly the case :) ).

Nice finds OP 👍 third new system of guardians in this area in the last few weeks! That almost doubles the number known out here :D

Is this 100% new? There have always been guardian ruins out in the black. Have always wondered why they are so far out.

How it should be :

  • you scan the new Site and get a 10M Codex Voucher for your new discovery
  • you sell the UC Data
  • no later than Server Maintenance Thursdays, the Systems become "Civilization : Guardian" in the Galaxy Map Filter
  • a Codex Galaxy Map view shows all known locations throughout the Galaxy, now additionally showing yours

This has never been the case nor worked, however. It already failed near the bubble with its high concentration of Guardian Systems.

Just found a new System with 3 New Guardian Ruins near Nebula 3199

For Thargoid (thinigies) I had t scan wth composite scanner to get my Discoery bonus, and update in the Discoveries.
Do you need to do this for Guardian as well?

Simon

I think you need to scan the ancient tower that pops up.
Being undiscovered system i got System tag and planet mapped, thanks to FC i didn't have to fly nearest station being out 15,000 ly

I had some Ruins over 10k LYs out but i didnt think people would still be interested in that.
It’s always of interest!

Pop the details in on the Guardian Discussions sticky thread if you’re happy to do so!

In addition to what @Red Rocket said:

You should be able to scan a couple of other things at the sites as well.

The best thing to do would be to look in the Codex Discoveries section for the Inner Orion Spur region - it should have the full set of items which can be scanned at the sites. (I can't check at the moment, but off the top of my head I think it's Relic Towers, Obelisks and Sentinels. I could be wrong though! :D )
