Save and quit was put in as an emergency measure, but it’s redundant. If an emergency crops up, you think I’m going to wait 15seconds? Hell no! The controller would be dropped without a second thought.
But once again, if you want to contribute, then offer a way to stop the logging! (Force quitting)
Ive offered a few ways...it’s really simple
Best suggestion: Join a Private with others and set your own rules. Enforce punishment for not following the rules and enjoy the game. Stay out of Open.
If you insist on playing in OPEN:
- Stop attacking players outside of the base design. Missions, bounties, Power Play
- Understand everyone doesn’t want to play the way you want to play
Your focus on this is closely similar to how you play the game. It doesn’t seem that you’re open to feedback and that’s why you and others see this as a problem. Honestly at this point it’s concerning because on one side some of you have decided that design Xbox one features and designed Fdevs features are cheating.
As a result you all are on a mission to MAKE others do as you desire.
Reality is thats not going to happen but there are opportunities to discuss
1. The context of it all in hopes that some “get it”
2. Share different sides of the discussion so that some “get it”
but in the end, nothing NEEDS to change if we are under the agreement that THERE ARE NO RULES in OPEN. This seems to escape you alls understanding. No rules is no rules INCLUDING bailing on combat to avoid being destroyed.
That seems to be the intended design so while some results are undesirable for some, they are desired by others.
You cannot go anout a solution with the focus on how it best helps you and hurts others.
Its apparet that some players want a faster log out or opt out of combat so while you may disagree that their way isn’t right, we don’t see Fdevs doing anything about it.
In your email they told you their punishment for what they consider combat logging isnt going to make someone make someone scream so that’s their intended way to deal with it. It is what it is
