Trek along the steppes of the mountains, traverse the forests and adventure through ponds with a trip across the amazing country!

Take a stroll through the woods to discover the agile and elusive Bobcat as it scavenges through the woods for food or look up through the trees to find the remarkable North American Porcupine taking a nap! Head down to the Great Lakes to find one of the most amazing and maybe annoying species of bird, the curious Canadian Goose! We obviously can’t forget about the Rockies either! Hike your way up to the cliffs to discover a group of easily recognizable Rocky Mountain Goats! Last but not least, a new species joins the walkthrough exhibit, the elegant and majestic Snowy Owl!

You used Cackling Geese instead of Canada Gees in the thumbnail?

Great pack! I would love it!

Reminder that all of these aren’t what I expect together, I don’t expect to get Coastal, Boreal and Canada all together, these are more alternatives for what the spring pack could be. It’s honestly just an excuse for me to finally guess a pack right lol.

I would buy it, but to me I can see how some non- North American players might not like it at all.

It appeals to me because I would love to recreate a local small zoo in New England. So these are all animals I would see except the Rocky Mountain goat

Which basically would be the same case as the Eurasia and Oceania packs.
The Wolverine and Takin of Eurasia pack, the Tassie and Kiwi of Oceania pack are all top 10 demanded species in the META wishlist, while there is no top 10 demanded species in this Canada pack, having Musk Ox would make it more attractive to non-North American players.

Not what I meant, I meant that the DLC would focus on one place so it wouldn’t appeal to everyone.

Alright now time for a serious one...

Planet Zoo: Western Asia Animal Pack arriving 18 June 🏜️

Hayo Zookeepers,

In the past we have been to some pretty cool parts of the Asian continent, but there is one last place with so much wildlife left to give that we haven't gave the spotlight it deserves. Warm up to a wide selection of wildlife with the new Planet Zoo: Western Asia Animal Pack coming to a Steam Store near you on 18 June alongside Free Update 1.18!

NOT OFFICIAL!.jpg

Take a journey across the Middle East and Western Asia and discover 8 incredible species!

Keep an eye out for the brightly recognizable Hamadryas Baboon with its fluffy silver coat, while the stealthy Golden Jackal hunts for food in the lush grasslands. Through the tall grass the all powerful Honey Badger scavenges through the dry plains while an adorable group of Rock Hyrax scouts the savanna from above. Down near the watering hole you might be able to find an African Sacred Ibis splashing around in all its glory, or look to the top of the mountains peak to find the impressive Chamois. Travel to more open waters to find a Great White Pelican fishing in the coast side. Rounding out our roster, the elusive Veiled Chameleon blending into the forest, our exhibit animal for this pack.

If we do get a Latin America pack next, I think this one could potentially be the summer pack, or at least something similar to it. If spring covers coati and a monkey the pelican should move into the meta top 10, plus outside of the pelican and baboon there are a lot of wanted species in this pack.

Btw are you guys enjoying these posts like should I keep making them?

These are very cool ideas, I too think the Latin American DLC should be saved for Summer, that way are guaranteed the most amount of species possible, with Spring perhaps being a Coastal DLC

Actually a big fan of this one, good mix of animal types

Out of the current posts I’ve done, I would think that these 3 are the most likely next packs:
  • Spring 2024; Coastal OR Boreal Pack
  • Summer 2024: Latin America Animal Pack
  • Fall 2024: (Next post stay tuned)
