Indeed. This was done shortly after launch, where a bug around buying and selling equipment at the Founders World allowed simple accumulation of cash. All accounts that had done it (inadvertent or otherwise) were penalised. Assets to the value of the obtained credits were removed.

Dunno. Have they ever removed the money from those that took part in "seeking luxuries"? Or the stacking of smuggling missions? Or the ranks of those that donated to charity to fast-track it? I haven't seen any track record of them penalizing those that took part in the exploits. It's an academic argument, anyway. Just a way of prompting the devs into expedient action and fix.

Me? I'm delivering snow globes for some reason... that's what, about 60k/hr? LOL! :)

Wait, does it cost money to repair your ship? I've always felt like there was a bug where the decimal was in the wrong place.

A measly 3 Mil/hour? There are routes that can make half that in a 400 ton cargo space anaconda by jumping between two stations back and forth in 10 minutes. Try eddo.io

not convinced with eddo.io just had a look at selling two places i trade between as a stand by. and it says the best i can do is 266Cr/t.. or 379cr/t with a supply of only 1t.
but i know for fact that i sell something from there for 366cr/t withe more than enough to fill my ship in 1 jump and then return selling something back for 219cr/t... (again more than enough supply to fill my ship)
In my little asp this works out (after deducting fuel) at 67,936cr for 2 jumps..
it may not be the most profitable per hour and it has gone down about 50% since horizons came and i used to make twice that.. But it still a good little safe run to do when i need the insurance money..

but the point is. eddo.io should have told me that rout not the less profitable more jumps one...

It's important to look at the date the data was last updated, I filter out all results older than 3 days (though I haven't used it in ages) because I found them unreliable, some commodities can't be trusted at all, like slaves, because they can be so volatile.

Anaconda AND 3 M/h AND trade ;) (Yes, there are probably more like me)

I have my reasons why I only earn 3 M/h - the right systems and the right commodity good. It's about the fun and not the money. I'm not the best trader in ED and I don't try to be the best trader :D

well thing is the thing i sell (non lethal weapons) high supply. does not even show up. and then just under 6ly away there is a hub that has a high demand for them.
that hub sells computer parts with high supply.. And the place i buy the guns from has a high demand for computer parts..
eddio.io did not mention any of that.
As it was where i base my self i spent about 30 minuets checking both places commodities to figure out the most proffitable trade between the 2. prior to 2.0 i was making about 100k on the guns alone in 1 direction. so it used to be even more profitable..
Im sure it knows of some really good trades (like i said the one i have is just there to keep me in credits if i get blown up 2-3 times in a row)
But for it not to have it down there seems a bit worrying because all other trades it listed are worse than it. and i only spent 30 mins on this one and didnt even check other local systems to see if i could do better. so i wouldnt even rate my rout as worth while. yet the ones listed on the web page are worse.

all you have to do is head out to the furthest point you can without a fuel scoop. atleast 400ly from the bubble. (you need to go all out fuel tanks, and use the economic travel route) then find any planet you can land on within 200ly of that (away from the bubble) and send your srv out to explore exactly 1.8km from the ship..

then you need to get back in the ship fast by destroying the srv using the self destruct option.
Take off (without getting a new srv) point straight at the nearest sun and fsd in to it. when you drop out of super cruise because you are too close. Kill the engine and wait 35 seconds.
Then point the ship away from the sun and boost away.
finally plot a course back to the bubble and head home, (you have to fly all the way back)
when you re buy the srv from a station in the bubble it costs -100m and you get 100m..
