DB is a millionaire on the back of ED.

CR is also a miilionaire on the back of SC.

CR is in the office every day doing stuff and publicity and fanbase live Q&A.

DB hasn't been seen in the same capacity regularly promoting ED for years - was he even at te last expo?

Both are CEO's of 400+ staffed companies, except CIG has offices across continents that CR visits regularly.

CR is clearly far too busy to be swanning around doing stuff other than working.

CR has a company (sorry, dozens of similarly named shell companies which change name & responsibilities routinely, for all the right reasons I'm sure) which has made $200million from backers and investors since 2012 with no shipped products, and no prospect of any shipped products in the next 2 years, if ever.

DB is the CEO of a company that has existed for 25 years and has shipped various successful products, with 3 very successful and profitable games shipped in the same period, with more in development.

Calling Mr Roberts....? helloooo? Do you have a game yet?

DB .... isn't a jpeg salesman.

The last time DB appeared for was The Return, no? (What with him being a Thargoid, he couldn't resist appearing then.) I can see why he wouldn't want to hog the spotlight for lesser releases as well. If he doesn't appear for promoting the next expansion when the time comes, then I'll be worried.

In Cambridge, stalking the corridors at Frontier HQ in your sheepskin coat taking names, banging heads together and cracking the whip.

I’ve just realiased that before DB r-u-n-n-o-f-t, he Prestoned us with the return. Every other day the Thargoids attack, and it’s all “Hey CMDR, another settlement needs your help”

shame he is not more active on Frontiers own official forums rather than 3rd party sites which really should be secondary to official channels.

I have my own beliefs about why DB is not in the limelight any more, however I am almost certain they will wheel him out to talk nerdy science around the making of the galaxy etc (this is not meant as a slight, I love his presentations he is a great public speaker) when they want to sell the next expansion.

My concern however is that the stuff which "excites" him about this rich and detailed simulation they are making often seems to bare little relation to the game which comes out after.
