I've never been. I may visit after I become allied with the Alliance & gain access to the capital Alioth, just to be there.

Question is, Cobra Mk III or Cobra Mk IV... Which ship to take? :p

Its a long way to Hutton Orbital
Its a long waaaaay to go
its a long way to Hutton Orbital
To the sweetest mug I know
Goodbye Galileo
Farewell Aaaaal-diiiiin
Its a long long way to Hutton Orbital
But my hearts right there

Love it ^,^

So far I've been to Hutton in a Siddy, Clipper, Python and Asp ^,^

Am I the only one who just lock the throttle to max for the most part and make the route in 30-45 minutes? Never really understood those 1hour+ trips.

I'm thinking my Mk III, just because of how sexy the ship is in that PC Gamer Magazine skin I have. :)

Agreed. It was the first CG I ever took part in and it introduced me to PwP and co-op play. I've made a ton of friends and am now part of the finest player faction in the game.

#forthemug

Yup. The best CG I participated in as well. And I've done a lot of them. Don't have my mug at hand right now, but I love it. Also the CG following that one with the huge convoy was a blast. (although I startled a lot of people because of my habit of scanning each and every system I jump to. Which showed me as deploying weapons.)

For the mug!

It will be fixed as soon as people realise they have 499,999,999,999 other systems to visit and are not forced to go there. At which point it's no longer an issue and doesn't need to be fixed. Catch 22 my friend.
:D

Also it's spawned an amazing community creation, even if they are fixated on their mugs somewhat. Too much scrap hauling has addled their minds.

Not a bug, it's a mug!

Damnit it's contagious!

I went to Hutton, and they said to me 'You mug, you came all this way for a mug, eedjit.'
So I thought I'll show them, and took some mugs on a tour of the galaxy to Beagle Point (almost), and I will bring them back to Hutton, and shove them where Alpha Centauri doesn't shine.
'But why?' they will say, and I will say
'We don't take these Mugs on a pointless voyages because it is easy; we take these Mugs on a pointless voyages because we are Truckers!'

Day of Thugs
(the TL: DR Country-Western ballad)

Caught her rambling with a CODE thug,
Guess I'll head out for the Hutton Mug,
Head swayin', Country playin',
Low reserves and an hour remainin'.

[Refrain]
Should've never left her long,
Should've never promised her a moon,
Should've been the captain of her heart,
Should've played a different tune.

Sweat beads and its hard to swallow
As aftward pings a box so hollow,
Pulled from the lull of frameshift-droning,
Spinning in, the hull is moaning

[Refrain]

Scan the lout, and turnabout,
I barely have a chance to shout.
Insurance buy, another try,
and pop out through slitted station-eye,
Back to Hutton for the mug,
to wash away my day of thugs.

[Refrain to fade]

That's right! Why can't we just select a system on Galaxy map and click "Explore"!

What's astonishing is if you could just click a star system out of a list of unexplored star systems and then select a planet all from the map the majority of the planets would *still* be unscanned and would be for quite some time.

Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is.
