Hyperspace Dethrottle not working

Try dropping down to normal space and turn flight assist off and then jump to a new system.

Other than that I'm not sure how to help.

You realize that doesn't help anyone who is having the issue, right?
Afraid I cant help it if you bought a hotas ... now if the game had a padlock option , I could understand the purchase , and yes I have a thrutmaster hotas , but not the rudder option. Pedals , up in the loft ( from my pc days ) f16 btw . Thanks.

I've noticed the consistency with this glitch. If I lock into super cruise or hyper space and I hit the boost button at the exact same time that The charging stage goes into the countdown for example; as soon as the last charging bar fills and you push the boost button, if the boost is activated at the exact same time our Corvis voice starts the countdown, that's when it seems to happen for me. Maybe anybody else can help me with this little experiment? Just be mindful of when you push your boost button when you charge for hyperspace and see if there's any consistencies in this theory of mine

I just had the same issue and decided to run some tests and I got the same results as @Vash627. I have just spent the last few months slowly taking a very long curved route to Colonia. During all this time the Hyperspace De-throttle worked fine but after I undocked from Jaques Station to continue my journey, and despite getting a prompt that that de-throttle was enabled, when I left warp it stayed at full throttle. I first returned to the station, restarted the game, console, etc. but the issue remained. However, if I left the ship in open space and then restarted the game then the issue was resolved.

It's happened to me for the first time. I've recently docked with Jaques Station in Colonia. Perhaps that's the cause?

Yep, having same issue now with my Corvette. Did unequipp all and rebuilt it. Still have same issue, says "Hyperspace dethrottle engaged" when entering new system, but it does not. Worked last night, now it dont. Works on my other ships though.

Had you been at Guardian Structures?
I find that it only happens after leaving a Guardian Structure gathering blueprints.

No never been there, but, did notice that if i play on borderless, it tend to not work for me, changed to fullscreen and it works.

Did change to bordertless to easier swap between client and web browsers.

The only thing that has worked for me is exiting the game and restarting. However, it has worked every time ( 3 times in last 6 months including yesterday).

Happened to me now on PS4 after leaving Guardian structure. Module is powered on, I get the big blue message 'Hyperspace Dethrottle Engaged' (almost wrote death rattle) when the jump finishes, but nah, full throttle into the star. Relog didn't help, but completely closing down the game and restarting does.

Can I add this is the first thread on the subject I found that doesn't advise the reader they are 'doing it wrong', with accompanying 'hur dur just throttle down while jumping' type advice, or the blanket assumption its a PC only issue. Well done this thread.

Had the de-throttle problem for the first time recently myself. I installed the super cruise module on my "exploration" Krait Phantom. I don't normally install the module but had a free slot in this ship so decided to fill it. First time coming out of hyperspace and the ship was suppossed to de-throttle but did not.

This was the day after the latest update so I thought it might be that. However, I saw other posters (above) mention Guradian structures. Ironically I only finished my first run through of a guardian site (despite playing the game for about 6 months) a few days before installing the module. Coincidence?

I've never had trouble with hyperspace de-throttle before.

Anyway, not a biggie for me as I don't worry about de-throttling most of the time as I'm looking to fuel scoop, but I thought I'd share my similar experience.

I experienced the same thing. Up until yesterday it worked fine, then I docked at Jaques Station in Colonia and when I left it was broken. I solved it by closing the game altogether while out in space. Not just to main menu, but completely. Next time I started and jumped out of hyperspace it worked again. I´m on PC and use only keyboard and mouse. So, if not all have recently been to Jaques Station, maybe it happens in other stations as well?

Also got this on my old DBX today after visiting Jaques in Colonia. However there are some things that I first thought could be the reason.

Switching old thrusters to new and did som engineering on them. Removing old guardian booster to install new one. Did some other engineering stuff as well, but those two first are the ones that are directly connected to space cruising.

Edit: Oops. Realized this was in the xbox section. Im on pc. However it seems that this bug happens on all platforms.

I had this same issue. My hyperspace dethrottle was working fine until I docked at Jacques Spaceport in the Colonia System. I tested this twice to confirm the issue how to correct it. There is something wrong with Jacques Spaceport that causes the hyperspace dethrottle to stop working.

Here is what I did to correct it. You do not have to remove and reinstall any modules.

Step 1: Get yourself into open space, away from any planets or stars.
Step 2: Turn off hyperspace dethrottle and automatic throttle in your ship settings.
Step 3: Disable your supercruise assist module.
Step 4: Close the game and restart it.
Step 5: Reinitialize your supercruise assist module.
Step 6: Turn hyperspace dethrottle and automatic throttle back on in your ship settings.

You should be back in business. Hope this helps.
