Newcomer / Intro I got the ship that can kill anything, now what?

That ship is not as good as you seem to think. I suggest you go Thargoid hunting in that flying coffin and then report back.

I wouldn't bother with PvP in that either. I reckon you might last 60-70 seconds against a proper combat ship.
ok mister admiral general, ive explicitly said i know i will get rekt by engineered ships in pvp and you still had to say that lol. Any advice on where to go and what to fight? Not thargoids because people do it in kraits and its probably for a good reason, i have one, just havent outfitted it for that yet.

Combat, one on one against NPC's is pretty easy. And you have a shield tank, so with their weapons they will not necessarily manage to get you down.

But the element you may well be missing is the rank of the other ship (size of the ship is pretty irrelevant). Anything below Dangerous won't be a challenge against your Anaconda. If you want an NPC challenge take on an Elite pirate lord assassination, or better still a wing pirate lord assassination. Make sure you have the rebuy if you try a wing mission.

To practice, try a compromised nav beacon, lots of higher ranking ships and no system authority to help you out, and be careful not to take on a wing by mistake.

You should put more time in testing. Al this theocrafting serves no purpose
I'm saying i did all kinds assassinate and massacre missions and been to a lot of haz res and combat zones, its only a question of popping a shield bank and keeping weapons on the enemy. So I am asking what are the cool kinds of combat activites people do!

I tried some wing assassinate missions, 1v3 etc is pretty fun!!! Its just the go to waypoint fight ship and return gameplay is a bit too sterile, are there ways to find stuff to kill that are more fun?

Do I just attack people or look for wanted players? Whats the most efficient way to find someone to kill? o7
Don't worry - they'll find you. :)

Bluflame, I'm glad you've very proud of your new ship and I hope you get good with her.
Just be warned that an Anaconda is a LOT of ship to handle. Right now you're finding it easy, because you're giving yourself easy targets.
I would personally suggest in the strongest possible way that you outfit the 'Conda to make money, get yourself a smaller ship for combat and learn to manoeuver. To the unfamiliar, an Anaconda becomes a trap, due to its profound lack of mobility.
Work towards engineering it, but learn to fly A-Rated first - once you get decent at combat (which takes a LONG time) Engineering will become an advantage, not a reliance.
Cheers! And good luck.

Dont worry i crashed it already for like 20 times before having my first crashless combat day! I have a t9 and python outfitted for boom time deliveries in a station im allied with, im settled with money, already giving the corvette dirty looks:) its just full dakka from a large ship gives me a boner, and dashing away from danger in a small vomit comet doesnt sound so appealing.

Try this, see if it turns your crank:
You get lots of dakka in smaller, more manoeuverable craft. :)
This is a Krait - easily capable of handling herself in a High-Rez, and a superb multirole platform. You might find it to your tastes - it's fast and agile enough to take on dedicated fighters, tough enough to withstand anything an NPC can throw at it, and can chew up an Elite Anaconda in no time.
The mistake people make is thinking bigger is better. It is for some, but I strongly suggest people explore the middle-weight ships before going to lumbering heavies. A good pilot in a Sidewinder can take out an Anaconda - it's the turn rate that kills you.

I have an a rated krait im planning to use for thargoid stuff later on!!! i like how its snappy and all but its not fast enough to really dodge enemy ship fire and you lose a lot of firepower too

Hello everyone, I got the game from epic and aaaaallly got into it, at first i did some trading and taxi because i loved the futurama vibe, long story short i was saved up for a ship i like and now i have it, but the problem is all combat missions are kinda... meh? I feel like a bully killing endless pirate cobras. What are the coolest things to do with my awesome battleship? o7
Well, kind of tall words. Even against NPC's. Have tried taken wing assassination mission solo? HazRes? Combat zone? I quarantee that unengineered whatever ship is going to have rough time.

I'm also eager to hear advice on what to improve and optimize
I know i can get rekt in PvP, but in terms of PvE its just a matter of having ammo and a shield bank, right? I have a lot of questions lol

Which are the main kinds of combat activites aside from hutning down targets? Which are the most fun?
How to start PvPing?
How to bounty hunt players?
Anyone wanna do PvE or PvP with me?
What engineering to get for multicannons?

i love this game
Basically you have lightly engineered Anaconda. There are some NPC's that can shred it. And well against players...You would be REALLY surprised how fast that will go BOOM.

Heh heh. Even an unengineered Asp X with 2 Medium anything and 4 small seekers will smash any random pirate when you are starting out with low combat rank.

The reason is that you are meeting unengineered opponents. The difficulty scales up very fast.

Go to a Hi Combat Zone or take an Assasination Mission requiring Master or Elite rank and you will now find that your Anaconda which was smashing all random pirates will not even be able to take down the 2nd circle of an FDL's shield before you rebuy.

Or you see those Unidentified Signal Sources? Those with rating of 7 and above? Try those to get a feel of how hard it can get.

People kill Thargoids in all kinds of ships. From haulers to T10s and belugas. The meta ships are the Alliance Chieftain and Krait mk2 though.

You will probably also want more engineering on an AX ship. At least maxed out thrusters, power distro, and power plant. Preferably everything.
