I have found Jaques Station!

multiple CMDR slots would not have made a difference, since i doubt they'd let us play 2 CMDRs on the same account simultaneously, with multiple accounts, that's not an issue.
Not slamming your nor is it a personal attack btw.

However you could just log back and forth from one to another and pretty much do the same thing but times how ever many slots they give us.

you's still need to fly all the CMDRs there, and have played them enough to earn credits for their ships and the meta alloys... the effort required is the same. although i agree you could circumvent the limit, you would not be able to transfer the cargo between the CMDRs.

I have three accounts and, thus, three commanders. There are very few things you can do at the same time with those. Rare trading is one where it works quite well though, even if you are piloting all three at the same time... One big ship to hold the rares, and the other two just goes in/out of station as soon as they have filled the allocation... I have done that, but... to be honest.. it becomes quite the effort IRL to manage all that.

I've also done tons of experimentation regarding the positives of doing things together in a wing, such as Mining and Trading... again, it takes a lot of effort to do it, when you simulate playing in a wing of three, but you have to manage all three boats yourself. But... I've found that most activities in Elite are favourable for wings rather than playing alone.

One thing is clear though; I will never have to call the fuel rats again. :D (love those guys though... they are the best). :)

I'll be heading out with my 2nd Cmdr account, Python kitted out for mining and I'll call by Maia first to bring some meta-alloys, should be fun :)

Seriously! I find this out NOW? I'm 7,000ly from Beagle Point and only made the extra trip from Sag A because I "knew" I could get repairs when I got there. Are you all seriously saying there's nothing at Beagle Point and I have wasted my trip?

That makes me bloody angry that does.

You didn't know that it would be there, you just assumed it would be.

Question - When Jacques is fully functional (I know it isn't at the moment) does he have basic outfitting?

I'm out exploring and have just lost my second and final SRV (both of them due to the magic rocks that look like any other small rock but take 50%+ of my SRV hull out when I hit them, which I'm seriously tired of now - it's not like I don't know how to drive it, I'd lost a total of one SRV between January and 2.1 being released and that includes jumping off 2km high canyons in it...) and I was heading out towards the station. I can't stand exploring without being able to get into an SRV when the mood takes me so now I'm faced with either a 10k LY trip back to the bubble, or pressing on and flying about 18k LY to Jacques. If I can't get an SRV or two there when the station is fixed I'm definitely going to have to come back in, which has already ruined my entire plan for the weekend.

Fuming. Absolutely fuming. I've just logged out, I can't even face it at the moment; I almost self destructed my ship I was that mad.

From memory it had a very basic outfitting, the rest was just repair/refuel and rearm. This was about a year ago.

Cheers mate. Don't think I'm going to chance it, I'll spend my weekend on a 20k LY round trip to the bubble for two SRVs and back to exactly where I am now :(

If anyone is interested in flying around planets and staring at the ground, every landable planet as far out as the red gas giant in Jaque's system is a candidate for barnacle life. Ive spent about a half hour on each one, nothing yet though.

I am pretty tempted to buy another account just so I can take better pictures of myself with another ship, seeing as how I will be able to do that with ship launched fighters I will wait for that. Though $40 for the whole package seems tempting right now to stage shots of ships together doing things and such.

Has anyone tried submitting a bug report on Jaque's station? I'm just thinking if he's supposed to be out there alone, he should be alone. But if we were supposed to find him out there with a pop. of 750 and mission givers and res's then, I'd have to believe something weird is going on.

Currently docked at Jaque's station. No station services available yet. No demand for MA's anymore. Unloaded my supply anyway. No missions available though they do have a faction leader for the faction that is "expanding". They request exploration data to offset the reduction in influence during expansion but Jaque's has no stellar cartography access.

I think it's pretty clear this wasn't supposed to be found the way it was and probably not for a long time.

Plenty of ships out and about so whether he traveled alone or not, he isn't alone anymore.

There is no max allocation, the meta alloys are released 7T at a time every 10 minutes, use an egg-timer set to 10 minutes to gather as many as you like, at 42 per hour.
i used an alternate account and an old laptop to gather 285 before i went out there.

I got nine at a time very early on Saturday, was still annoying to fill my Asp with 56 tons of them. And I just sold them at a loss of 20k per ton at Jaques. Demand is still 0, but on the other hand, the supply of stills is currently 42...
