I find it fascinating how the vast majority of posts opposing the OP are straight from the How To Troll handbook. Deflect, Deny, Denigrate, never give details, never make a coherent point, act the victim.
Petulant schoolboy?! Thanks for that laugh (Cmdr name just adds to it too). Please find another thread to troll since you bring nothing to the discussion.Nice job there again OP. Derailing your own thread with sarcastic abuse. Don't you see how no one is going to take you seriously when you reply like a petulant schoolboy? lol
So now the gold farmers need a grinding account and a mule account and with station storage they can basically double their effectiveness! Every account can both grind and mule!
You're fighting a lost cause trying to make these people respond to logical arguments in the same manner. It's easier for them to just LoL, accuse, blame and dismiss. Let's just see what December will bring...1) who the hell pays for credits?
2) if someone did pay for credits, how would it impact you?
3) why are you so worried about gold farming?
4) should we really limit useful features due to fear of a nonexistent problem causing no impact on anyone else’s experience?
You do realize what will happen in December, don't you?LoL. Try harder. LoL. everyone knows it's an exploit. Gold farmers go home.
You do realize what will happen in December, don't you?
LoL you're actually flat out denying that gold farming is even a thing? LoL. Do you understand why the developers are never going to give you this now?
LOL ZOMG LOL.......LoL you're actually flat out denying that gold farming is even a thing? LoL. Do you understand why the developers are never going to give you this now?

Yes I am saying gold farming is a non-issue with elite. Yamiks has a pretty funny video where he found a site selling credits/various elite services. They are laughably overpriced and you have to let them have access to your account. If someone is dumb enough to do that, then there is no helping them and we should not design the game around the dumbest "players" (if you pay to avoid playing the game idk what you are).
There is also a big "so what" factor here. If you have 70 billion credits, you don't really have any more of an advantage than someone with 700 mil. Elite is very well protected from gold farmers.
Maybe you need to do some research before chiming in. Feel free to correct me (with facts, not opinions) but I looked online for "gold buying" options in the game and unlike other games where you can easily trade face to face with others or even just email money, supplies, etc.... you don't have that in Elite Dangerous. I'm guessing that because of those limitations (see, limitations can work, like we suggested) the only options I'm seeing are those where you pay someone to PLAY the game. The amount you'll get is apparently based on how long you'll give them access to your account. I'm also guessing they're probably mining opals in those 24 to 48 hours.
So call it what you want but it's not an exploit in the game. If you're dumb enough to give your account info to some stranger so they can play for you, then so be it but the game IS being played by someone who actually knows how to make some money. Maybe you're just jealous that you're not being paid for your time? LOL
So we shouldn't have storage because something that is not a problem currently will continue to not be a problem? Your logic is flawed, if not entirely absentYes it is, and I hope the devs keep it that way.
How is it a problem? It is a problem. It is happening. It is an exploit. You just want to make it easier for the gold farmers to run their illicit businesses.
Agreed. So they could make it automatically fined/ cargo repossessed if you try something like that. Or a ship with cargo cannot be transferred (due to safety reasons for the transport company?)A unintended consequence would be illegal goods wouldn't mean anything anymore if you transfer your ship full of the stuff to your current location, bypassing security completely.
This was addressed. You'd have known if you read earlier posts.A unintended consequence would be illegal goods wouldn't mean anything anymore if you transfer your ship full of the stuff to your current location, bypassing security completely.
