Really disappointing, uninspiring nameplates, was hoping for a lot better.

Here hoping more premium nameplates will come in the future.

I think the price point will be important... £5?..... no.

If £1 then im ok. Given that people will want to name multiple ships i think thats both practicle and fair. (however i think its a shame that this particular feature is behind a pay wall at all)

Those look like the free options available for everyone if this was some other AAA game or free to play game. And on top of those there would be the cool ones in store. But those look cheap and simple. I assume 1 € each? More would be too much for what those are.

BTW are those replacing normal decals? Isn't decals on asp in same place those name plates.

So much this. The policy they have with cosmetics is one of the worst I've seen in a game (including f2p games).

Yeah I guess this one comes down to personal taste. I quite like the simple text but I get that people were thinking about something more visible and exciting. Each to their own I guess.

Generally people expect something special when they're shopping around for premium cosmetic stuff.

TBH Frontier makes EA look charitable by comparison.
