I Need Manufacturing Instructions

I'm having trouble finding the specific sites where these spawn. I know to look for the word "Manufacturing" in all the settlement names, but all the ones I find are either "Medium" or "High" Security...and those patrol routes are AIRTIGHT for a Level 1 foot soldier. I got a tip from some kind of POI that may spawn, but haven't had much luck locating those signals specifically.

Anyone have some more concrete pointers to offer me? Please? I'd really hate to be stuck at the basic gear I have.

I also wish there were a way to trade data, like how "goods" and "assets" are traded at the bar (a little silly that the fence is a BARTENDER, but WHATEVER).
try impact sites, they seem to be a common download from these

Nice bonus from impact site

Use datapoints in settlements, I've found a few... check to see if any have it, don't download it. If they do you'll need to turn the alarms off and murder everyone who gets in your way then hightail it out of there
usually i murder everyone first anyways, mostly so i can take anything else that might be there

So, are there any new, more reliable ways, to get MI's in 2025 in Elite? Particularly since you seemingly cannot barter you way to them.

They often appear shortly before you get into orbital range, you don't neccesarily need to scan.
Larceny missions obviously direct you straight to one though you'll likely only see one or two on the board.

If I'm stopping anywhere close to a planet I map it just for the hell of it. That way if I 'm looking for ground POIs it's already done. 🤷‍♂️

They do show up often as mission rewards, filter it by materials. Worth doing in mostly anarchy based area so less jobs are illegal
Note that these missions appear only in the concourse terminals, not in the mission screen you can view when you are in your ship docked at the station.

(This is one thing that confused me for quite a while, until I realized that. For some reason almost nobody is specific about that part, seemingly just assuming that people know what they are talking about.)

Ah yes, it's really annoying they are separate. but also talk to the random mission givers around the inside too, as there is another 6 or 8ish missions
