"I remember when..."

...the time we went exploring the Galaxy before we got the 1000LY route plotter.
Also, the time we dreaded going to the core due to the problems it caused to said 1000LY route plotting.

...when I was sat at home, recovering from a heart & clot problems, wondering what to do with my spare time.

  • When we were told there will be no server wipe for Gamma > Live transition.
  • When I finally was able to afford D-kitted Hauler, after working my bottom off for a few weeks to earn enough money for it. Good old 3301...
  • When I took said Hauler for an exploration trip 500 LY away from the Bubble and was scared to death something will happen to me or my ship while I am "out there in the black" :D
  • Battle of Lugh and the poem in Chaviano Gateway.
  • When FDEV said at Lavecon 2015 (or '16) that they will implement the Graveyard at Tionisla at some point.
  • When I thought "at some point" meant "at some point in the near future" :p

Salt on roads essentially signals the end of my 2 wheeled adventures until March. I remember when I would ride all year round. Now I have a car too. I'm too old for that winter riding lark. I remember when I had no choice. When I'd have icicles hanging off my eyebrows.

I remember when you could find a Refining system on the fringe of the bubble in a Boom state, and receive missions to Mine commodities that they sold in their own markets and flip 500m+ an hour without ever leaving the pad.

”Market Mining” was a real thing.
