I was wrong about FDL. Of a samurai who resisted using a katana and fought with a kanabo mace instead.

Thanks, however with that Prismatic shield, I don't suppose it is built to fight in a CZ or taking on successive elite NPC Anaconda pirates who are interdicting you right? That shield takes ages to regenerate.
I use it as a run-about and having a go if I meet somebody. My optionals looks a little different as jump range isn't that important in Colonia (https://is.gd/MoK1cA).
You should make it through a med CZ and multiple interdictions with the Prismo. Main issue with a high CZ would be not enough ammo. You could change the shield for a reinforced/fast-charge bi-weave if you want to stay for a long time. It gives around 2k shields and can regen between missions or interdictions. I used something similar to this (https://is.gd/H8SBo5) before carriers in CZs 13k away from the nearest station. Could run 3 highs before I needed to refuel. Now I use for PvE a Conda with srb fuel rails.

If one is a skilled pilot in a properly fully engineered FDL, one can use either prismatic or biweave shields in Czs because one can kill a npc target very quickly, or out-maneuver them. Same with the elite Anacondas.

On my very first try of a CZ, I died instantly. I am not talented when it comes to video games. :) However, because I practiced and practiced maneuvering and range control, I can now solo low and medium Czs in my FDL with hardly a ring taken off of prismatic shields. I never suffer any hull damage.

Builds do matter more in organized PvP and AX PvE. However, ultimately, success is about internalizing the flight model into muscle memory.

I never actually used one in ED. Was in my budget range but I found other options more interesting. I don't member it being rank locked. Chose Python and FAS over it. It kinda has still that poser chariot connotation to me from 84's Elite.

Maybe he drives this car...

How do you drive cars?

As a personal preference when I’m piloting a spaceship that is essentially a very big fighter I prefer to sit centrally; I passed through the Adder in my early game and didn’t get along with it but that’s purely preferential.

If I am driving a car, then something has gone horribly wrong because I haven’t a clue how to do it. So I suppose it doesn’t matter where I sit then...
