Wouldn't work. Every time this place is given facts it goes silent for 5 minutes - then continues as if nothing has been said. Just look at all the threads today trying to justify ship interiors (which we were just told are no time soon).
I think the new version of the Community Streams they demonstrated yesterday would be all the community here can take.
A dedicated subforum with devlogs would only be an eternal dumpsterfire, I fear.

Might give birth to some truly majestic threads, though
they just need to clean the news sub forum up and stop stickying every single thread in there!
oh and actually post development news and roadmaps in there.
