If Combat Logging is a bad thing. Then why is it okay to attack a player faction without being seen?

You are obviously, not a normal mod. Anyone else doing this on any other forum. The mod would have his status removed for going against what the developers want spreading false info and controlling conversations when it comes to balancing issues.

They are. I know some who are moaning about players affecting the BGS in solo, but seem perfectly ok with it when an explorer in solo drops 20 mil in exploration data for their faction.

There is a difference in giving and opinion and outright lying to people for years because you dont want to be "pvpd". You did the same thing with powerplay. You were telling people the wrong things intentionally giving people bits and pieces of info when they came here asking about it.

Get it through your head that Elite is not a PVP game. Never has been, isn't now, hopefully never will be. If you want a subscriptionless Eve, look elsewhere.

The main reason is that there are no player factions. There are just minor factions that player groups have been allowed to name.

The BGS isn't built for direct confrontation. The word 'background' is kind of a give away.

In short, these are not the game mechanics you are looking for.

Wait for squadrons and hope they include something that suites you.

Here's the Lead Designer, defining Combat Logging and calling it out as an exploit.

I can't find a similar thread for BGS activity in Private Groups or Solo.

Maybe you have one?
