If Combat Logging is a bad thing. Then why is it okay to attack a player faction without being seen?

Everyone knows that cheating is fully FDEV approved. Logging, Exploits, Bots... all ignored.

The bigger concern is how they intend to keep their player base with the weak release structure, broken core issues and rather pathetic game narrative ( I am told there is one ), that they seem to think everyone is enjoying.

The most ardent PVE fanboi must be getting bored of the SAME things on repeat 3 years on. I love snowboarding but there is only so many times you can hit the same resort with the same snow.

But we did get another copypasta ship, this time with a spoiler. That will keep the FDEV fanbois happy until the next hype train arrives at the station.

To clarify: the official stance on exiting the game via the menu, at any point, is that it is legitimate. I suspect at some point we may increase the "in danger" countdown, but for now you just have to wait fifteen seconds.

However, we can't speak for how other Commanders view such actions.

For the record, when we talk about "combat logging" at Frontier, we mean the act of ungracefully exiting the game (either by ALT-F4 type procedures or by cutting the network traffic).

SO good question. Should the Menulog be perfectly acceptable when it comes to objective based gameplay between players? Just to put yourself in a safer spot even though you lost the engagement? And still turn in the items needed for the objective?

In a game where PvP is optional, affecting the BGS, from any mode, cannot then be considered to be cheating.

No difference than playing on Xbox and affecting factions on pc or PS4.

Combat logging and game modes are very different. Apples and oranges.
