i dont bother reading the galnet news as i think the universe FD have created is e easy way out bland txt and picture driven experience,cmon a bit of a overhaul would be worth it....i reckon it will get good once we can walk around stations and interact with a npc version of Duval for example(not robert)and actually get that more immersed feeling....juck a few dialogue choices in like we had in mass effect or kotor serires(not the 3rd online tripe)

The bonuses for ALD are pretty cool. I got my Hammers and bought like 12 of them and now I am getting the prismatic shield. I have maybe 1 more to get after the shield then likely head back to ALD for the bounties bonus as it is a great money maker.

exactly man...i spent 4 weeks with lee rung ling li....or whatever his name was for his pretty looking pack hound racks.....but sadly lost them a while back whilst trying to swap modules about....
i am at the moment 2 weeks away from the hammers
...but i do it mainly for a easy 50 mill,cant scoff at free money

I did thought we could do better too, until CQC came out for PC and they thought we'd like it with our other scores. Frankly, FD is the worst dev team I've ever seen. I'm sorry sir, what you ask is impossible for them.

I'm pledged to a power and those messages annoy the hell out of me. They're as bad as the divergant mission NPC's that follow you from system to system spamming the same canned messages to you over and over again.

I love this game - but it's half-baked implementation on so many things is starting to wear a bit thin.

It is irrelevant why OP is still pledged. His issue is that the message reappears after having being deleted. That's a valid complaint. Real-world emails you have deleted don't reappear in your inbox. It is reasonable to assume that in-game messages would not reappear either.

It doesn't matter why he is still pledged. It matters even less whether you think it's a valid reason. The fact is that he does want to remain pledged and that automatically implies that unpledging to solve a UI bug is not a solution.

Thanks to the rest of you that replied as well. (I got some good laughs from some comments.) Furrycat understood me even though I may have been unclear with my point.

I do like to play Power Play. I just find it obnoxious even Spam like to keep telling me (after deleting this message) to receive it over and over again with each login. If I acknowledge this message, then the sender should be polite and not send it again. Otherwise I will just put their message in the Spam folder and never worry about it or view it again! Except in this case, I have no spam folder so I am tortured with the task to trash it ever time I login !!

To all that have read this, understand that I love the game, but I am not going to stand by and watch it get worse. I want to see it get better and I believe it will get there as long as we all do not loose faith in FD and help or show them how we think that can happen. I know the rest is up to them to listen and possibly apply, but if I keep my suggestions to myself then I have only myself to blame for not saying anything at all.

If you apply "real world" logic to the game, you pretty much don't have a game...

Why should my power play faction leader, who PAID ME A HUGE SALARY and is MY EMPLOYER on some level, not ping me when me when I am not doing my job?

Last time Hudson went into turmoil I got a similar message and I felt bad...I'd been moonlighting in Sothis because it was a cool CG.
I did not hate upon Hudson and I surely did not hate upon FD, I just tried a little bit harder to help him and my power out and it's been good since.

Hope they fix the issues in PP soon though.
Some aren't even trying to play it, just take advantage of it.
