I have been flying only one combat ship for the most part of the last 2-3 years: the Cutter! Oh wait, I also have been flying my trader, a Cutter! Ohi, forgot about my miner...the Cutter!

Depends on the day of the week.
Monday, Cutter. Pay off weekly expenses.
Tuesday, Krait MkII. Push back the Thargoids a bit.
Wednesday, Python. What, slaves to a platform for 25M? Sure thing!
Thursday, Asp Explorer. Go to place X to grab Y for recipe Z.
Friday, Corvette. Those massacre missions aren't gonna do themselves.
Saturday, T9. Nothing like shieldless quad mission running, Elite level, to get the blood moving in the morning.
Sunday, Anaconda. My favorite passengers are the ones with singed hair and a short itinerary.

De Dolphin is a very capable ship:
  • a good peoples carrier, performing sightseeing missions and even mid range trips into the black. The exploration data is where the money is.
  • a decent space van, but not quite a small truck like the Type 6.
  • a fine miner

I've used mine for pve many times and the bounty rewards usually outweigh the rebuy :p

Yes, there are worse. But that is just my opinion.

When the racer cosmetics came out the Courier was one of the first ships to get them. The opinions at the time were many positive versus few negative probably because we had something new!

The four Inperial ships are always white. Honoring the Empire a player might keep them that way maybe going with tactical ice for a little personal statement. Meanwhile if you are an Independent, Alliance, or Federation lower species one can purchase a Courier and repaint with a bland military green the Feds like so much.

Close call but the type-10. The type-9 has the closest Prometheus feeling and the type-10 is the practical version of the same thing.

If then cockpit had modern levels of detail probably the cutter also. Do you remember the first time you got one and how in awe of the thing you are? No other ship did that like the cutter. Oh wait new players get one of these in a few weeks it’s probably not the same anymore sure.

I would have said krait but it’s just one or two outfitting slots short of passing up the above two.

edit the cutter was great. I couldn’t even afford to outfit my first one, I just took it around to look at it for the next week while saving up for d rated parts.

Definitely the Clipper.
Yeah so no outposts would make me sad, but honestly, not flying my Clipper forever would make me sadder.
