Ahh, you see, I would oversee operations from the bridge of my fully armed and operational Fleet Carrier, protected by my crew - that's the least they can do considering the credits I'm paying that overpaid crew!

Once the war is won, the regional Imperial governors would have direct control over their assigned Federation territories. Fear will keep the occupied Federal systems in line. Fear of this fleet carrier. :D

Serious question: Why do people support the Empire? Besides the ships, I can't really see the appeal. If you hate the Federation, the Alliance seems better.

Great ships. Plus narrative-wise, 1000x more interesting then the Feds or Alliance, IMO. And I usually support the under-dogs, and the Imps are truely that as far as CGs (and I dare say, any war) are concerned.

Can't get a handle on the Alliance really, for me they're just 'there' with no real agenda beyond 'we fought 2 superpowers to become independent and then we created a superpower of our own!' - or as Sando once joked, 'Traitors to Independence'. I'll give them kudos for the Cheifain and Challenger.

The Empire can barely keep it's own houses in order and you want it to massively expand it's control of more houses in disarray?
If I thought the Empire could handle such a massive expansion of it's borders I would agree.
It simply does not have the military, political, or civil power to suddenly take on such a burden. If anything the Empire would implode like it's counterparts throughout history have when expansion outgrew means.

Only the....finest free range meat goes into our burgers. Have you also experienced our new burger- the Royale with cheese? Made from 100% royalty its a true king...of burgers :D

There are innumerable sci-fi factions in other settings that are either corporate dystopian hellscapes (i.e. Fed) or a disorganised rag-tag band of Independents (Alliance).

At least the Imps have something a bit different. It may not look like it to outsiders, but it works for them.

As an independent contractor I have to weigh my options to see which side I will support.

CG reports at time of Post:
Feds: 45B (75%)
Imps: 11B (18%)
