If you could only have ONE ship.......

Probably the Cutter for me, I can't remember the last time I needed to land on a medium pad even in the smaller ships in my collection... the Anaconda isn't as pleasing to the eye and the Corvette jump range would do my head in without an auto-pilot.

The reason that I didn't choose the python in previous post here was because I remember flying it pre-nerf in 2015. Wow,that ship had no faults then.
I just bought a python, will engineer the heck out of it,and see if it reminds me of 2015 :)

Same here, mate, I've flown her pre-nerf. The best ship that ever was. Now believe me, if you get more than 35% DD you'll have the same feeling.

Imperial Clipper. But I can fully understand that many people choose the Python or the Asp. They 3, are the best medium range ships to do whatever you want. I prefer the Clipper for the speeeeeeeeeeeed and beautiful design. Cargo/Passanger capacity + speed and you'll can evacuate refugees easy, of the tharg war. There are enough large pads for the galaxy. All planetary surface bases, for example.

I hope I will already be long gone out in the black in my ASPX if and when it happens [where is it]
If not I will fit my Annie for more survivability and leave for a quiet place as far as possible !
Naa, i'm not a coward

I was also thinking about what will be if Thargoids "interferences" port with your fleet, so I decided to disperse my fleet, and to farm some credits, and I guess this is the one of the reasons why "Ram Tah" quest still not nerfed.

yep, Annie, because mining with black market trading (to support bubble) will be the way to survive.

Python is great ship, was the best for smuggling in golden days of Robigo, also great in PvE, but sucks as an exploration ship, and average in mining.

While I would agree that the Python is not the ideal ship for exploration, particularly if you need range - with all the essentials fitted, it is a struggle to get an un-engineered one much past 25ly - with engineering, you can improve things, and get a usable ship. And range isn't everything when exploring anyway - once you get to the core regions (boosts and overcharging can help get you there faster), you barely need any range at all in order to explore more-or-less forever.

And below that price tag? Is a T9 better than a Python?

Just asking because i think ill finally try mining.

If you haven't mined before, or if you just want to do a bit for engineers a Cobra mkIV is good. Relatively cheap & lots of slots for limpet controllers.

Unfortunately, i don't have access to that ship with the account i am currently playing. I want to mine at least 500t for the unlock, and use it to chill out in VR. Hence, i was thinking T9 for the great view. But i guess i'd have to go somewhere where NPC pirates don't spawn.

My issue with the T9 is it's ability to get back to dock with a full load, The Python does a better job of protecting it's (smaller) load imo. I did my 500t in the Corvette, I think of it as a Python plus :)

Would have said Corvette too, as many others, but then I switched my mind and now I say...Cobra Mk III. For the Cobra, even the Mk. I back then, has proven to be rather efficient against numerous Thargoid ships before, so why not this time as well? Plus, it's really versatile. For safety reasons, already got one based at Colonia, you never know :)
