If you could only have ONE ship.......

Ack!

I hate making decisions like this!!!

I was going to say my Python, but...

Ah heck, I'm just going to try and strap my Python, DBX, Corbra, Vulture, and Original Sidey all on top of my Anaconda and take them all!!!

Or hire 5 crew members to follow behind me :-D

Scores on the doors...

...I'll add my vote for the Python... meaning:

Python - 22
Anaconda - 14
Cutter - 10
AspX - 9
Corvette - 6
Imperial Clipper - 2
T9 - 2
Vulture - 2
Sidewinder - 2
Orca - 2
Imperial Courier - 2
Cobra III - 2
FdL - 2
Federal Dropship - 1
Keelback - 1
Beluga - 1
Viper III - 1
FaS - 1
DbX - 1
T6 - 1
Eagle - 1

Just tinfoiling here.

With the Thargoid's coming, they could push humanity out of the bubble and you may not then have access to your 'fleet'.

If so what would be the ONE ship you would take?

I've got down to two - the Imperial Clipper and my Cobra MkIII. So which is your favorite ship from your fleet?

Ships I have now ? Or one ship I could take regardless of whether I have it?

Out of the ships I have now I would pick my Imperial Clipper.

If I could make a choice of any ship in the game currently it would be the Imperial Cutter.

The Asp Explorer with a Hudson bobble head. I can run from the Thargoids and toss peanut shells at the bobble head whilst the FSD spools up.:)

Whatever runs the fastest and jumps the farthest. If we're running, might as well be good at it. I'd prefer to just stay and fight, live or die.

For me it would have to be the Anaconda. I would miss outposts but as far as I can reckon it would be the only ship that I could do EVERYTHING in comfortably on a whim.

I trade and mine and explore surfaces, I do combat and missions of all types including passengers. Community Goals, engineers, yeah it would have to be Annie.

Accept no substitute.

Edit maybe something like this

I do only have one ship. When I transferred over from x-box I had money, but no ship. I considered getting a Type-9 and an asp-explorer, like I had before. Then I decided to get an Anaconda and just change its load-out based on the task. So far I haven't regretted it.

My Python bought and paid for all the others I have so that would have to be it.

Although if they don't fix the Suicide Skimmer problem I may be left with only one ship whatever it is.

If i could only choose to run with one ship, it would have the be the Anaconda ..it's not my favourite ship but it has a huge jump range, can fight well and haul a decent amount of goods and passengers, have fighter bays and it's big enough to live on if we have to make the ship our home too

How about the Medium / Large pad thing?
Anaconda's can't use outpost resources.

One month ago - I was sure it would be my Python.
But today I think it would be the 'Conda.

But if we got advance notice, I would consult with the team.
Maybe someone needs to fit their Beluga with Big Economy passenger cabins to do the refugee exodus thing.
The VIPs can lump in with the plebs. We're the Alliance, not the bloody Empire.
Maybe someone needs to take a T-9 full of uh pesticides or something.

Whatever is best for the most.

Passenger Liner "Darwin Ferry" on approach to a plausible exodus location for Alliance citizens: Darwin Research Facility.

Love my Corvette, But if it was down to one ship......

Cobra Mk III - Cause it is the iconic ship for Elite and holds a very special place in my years of Elite gaming since 1984.
