If you were the authors, how would you have named the game instead?

I don’t know if this post already exists, but I always thought that “dangerous” is an understatement for this game. Yes it is dangerous, but I find that the name lacks in matching the scope of the game.
I start with my personal suggestion:

Elite: Infinity

I would simply have called it "Elite".
The original, classic, recognized, undilluted name, nothing else.

I've not always been fond of the addition of the word 'Dangerous' in the name so I would have settled for just 'Elite', however that may not have worked for various reasons.

'Elite Online' sounds ok at first but then it sounds a little too much like 'Eve Online'

'Elite Galaxy' ? Hmm, nah

'Elite Citizen' ? ...I'm so sorry

Whatever the case, I think they could have done better than simply appending 'Dangerous'.
