I'm bored with this game. What to do?

I have about 500 hours since December. Had lots of fun but now I'm bored.

I have the ships I want. Anaconda and Corvette. The grind to get Imperial Cutter is not worth it.

No need to mine anymore, I've got enough credits.

Combat is.......meh.

Exploration would be fun if there was something to do when you get there. Driving around on a barren planet gets old after 30minutes.

So am I missing something? What else is there to do?
Enjoy space? Go to the Guardian ruins and learn all about them and enjoy the atmosphere at those sites? Visit the INRA bases and Thargoid locations and enjoy those sites? Uuuuhm. Visit Orion and Barnard's Loop! One of the most beautiful areas in the galaxy and not far away.
Just do something that is not associated with grinding, money making or ranking up in any way. If that makes no sense to you, you might be better off with a classic mmorpg.

Almost forgot: join a player group and do stuff together with them. Join the Fuel Rats maybe, so you have a purpose.

Firstly, why did no-one post this^ in my thread asking for advice following my celebrated* return to the ED galaxy?! & secondly, who why what where when which how?! I rather suspect this chart would be somewhat confusing to a pseudo-noob like me even during my - few & far between, these days, I'm afraid - lucid moments.

Mmmmm...morphiiiiine!

Disclaimer:

All legally prescribed, of course!
Technically, I could probably get by without it now but where would the fun be in that?! & besides, that which the medical profession doesn't know...🤪.
I'm just going outside & I may be some time...hmmm, are these beds supposed to have seatbelts?

To clarify, by "celebrated return", I mean...by those with whom I regularly spent time during my early convalescence.

EDIT: 'No idea what happened to the formatting, sorry!

I have 2000+ hours and still not bored.
Go look for RAXXLA, or something.

My advice is don't force yourself to play a game you're already bored with. You can look for suggestions but if none of them entice you then find another game to play.

Stop playing for a bit, come back later. You don't have to finish (a game that cannot be finished) in one chunk.

I see someone liked this post a year later. The irony is that I'm now bored with all three of these things, LOL.

I alternate between Faction stuff & exploration/travelling. By the time I've achieved whatever I was aiming for in one aspect of the game plenty of other stuff I want to do (but wasn't able to) has built up. There's always more to do :)

Go get VR and it will be a whole new game. Unlock Guardian fsd booster in VR.......
Go fight Bugs in VR, heart stopping
Do SRV racing in VR, what a rush
Fly thru canyons at high speed with Currier in VR, death defying
Go do SRV Geyser jumping in VR, for a laugh
Unlock Thargoid Map in VR, for a great cinematic view

After more than 3000 hours in VR I have done it all and still never get bored in Elite
