I would've settled for countdown timers for missions.
For which mission if you have three on the go at once?

Doesn't that happen anyway? My in-game clock is UTC but my network logs are all timestamped using my system clock which is BST (UTC+1). On more than one occasion I've nearly attached the wrong log to a bug report because I've subtracted instead of adding. One solid reason to keep GMT as the only reference is the log files. Imagine a dev trying to suss an issue using log files from multiple players who all have their own time zones set.
Either the last one you looked at in the Transactions list, or the one with the lowest time to completion, or the one that just had a fast delivery bonus dropped on it. There are plenty of options, but it's all moot if FD aren't interested in implementation. I would love a countdown timer, of any type, but given how long it took to get that cockpit clock I'll not be holding my breath. For which mission if you have three on the go at once?
Move to England?
So, for now I will concede. I suppose I am stuck with your silly English clock, but don't expect me to like it.
Please call roomservice, there's a frog in my bidet?
Odd thing to say.
No, it was to help with missions as they have a deadline in game time, not local time.
Seriously just do some math it's not hard. You're smart I'm sure.
In the UK doing math is very hard. Here we do maths!![]()
It is not an English clock, watch the forums when England goes into our out of Daylight savings and see the people complain about the in game clock not changing to match it.
Galactic Mean time.
One standard clock for everyone in game, for all in game events, and community goals and missions to refer to the same time

i would like to set the clock to match the local time in the system I am based out of so I know I am on time to deliver my rare goods......that time just so happens to match the old Earth time of UTC +5.

A watch? What is this, 1920?
England is not currently on GMT, the clock is wrong for us too.
When you rely on your smartphone to find north you'll be in trouble when the battery dies in the middle of nowhere.
Nothing beats a mechanical, self-winding watch and the sun to find north
(completely offtopic, but I had to mention it )
