In-game status/ more activity feed sharing on timeline

I assume this is easy to implement. As the title suggest, I would like my profile to show not just that I am playing Elite Dangerous, but maybe what I am currently doing in-game let it be
- hunting pirates, in combat or transferring cargo .. maybe title of mission and/or the name of the system I am currently in.

Also currently the activities that we share on our ps4 activity feed are restricted to "Left xx number of stations" and "signed up for CG" Why not add some variety like
- Discovered a new stellar body for the first time.
- Ranked up with a superpower or in combat/trade/combat
- Took out xx pirates.

You get the idea ... Thanks

ED doesn't really need this because 95% of the time the PS4 will be telling people we're traveling thru space or docked at a station.

Does any other game show this much detail? At best you get notification of who's earned what trophies lately, or whether someone is in a lobby/match/instance. That leads me to suggest that it has more to do with how PSN handles the information rather than a particular game. Though personally I don't want people to see what I'm doing and where - hence I appear offline all the time; but maybe PS5 will be more descriptive. And maybe they'll add the option not to show it as well.

Offline mode doesn't exactly work for ED. Anyone on your friend's list can clearly see you're playing ED if they go on the game themselves.

Fair enough, seeing friends from within the game itself doesn't concern me; a lot of other games do that too. I thought OP was talking about timeline of the PSN user profile. Like where it tells you "such and such earned X achievements in Some Game", or what your PSN friends can see you doing right now from outside the game. Maybe I misunderstood.

It's already like that; always the "...visited 10 stations" message.

That message is basically all you get, and it always says 10 stations regardless, I think someone raised it as a bug at one point, never got addressed.

It can show the system name at least.

FIFA: shows the game mode you're in plus your match's score. GTA: I get a notification when someone performs a heist or buys a new car/clothes with detailed amount of money spent.

So I think it's possible especially that we already see two types of feed now as I mentioned but we need more variety.

I was talking about both actually. The status under your profile and the activity feed on the timeline.
