Increased volatility in the BGS -runaway leaders many retreats

yes, my faction was actually around 12%, for the 6 day retreat state my faction was 12.5% for the last 4 days, only below 2.5% for the first 2 days
11% on day 7 which, it is only supposed to be 6 days.
normal would have been for the retreat to end with me still at 11.% and still in the system

there is no normal anymore though.
and fwiw this is retreat #5 of which I could not prevent. this was the only 1 that was my faction though.

Could you give the system name?

Retreat was made easier to stick in 3.6 with the 2%/day penalty, but I've never seen a case where a faction leaving a system as a result of a normal retreat did so above 2.5%

If the war ended in a draw, that sounds like normal behavior.
Revisiting the system, they got into another war (it's a low traffic system and missions keep sending me to blow up their planetary port) so I went out to make sure they lost it this time. Asset changed hands as expected. The winner of the conflict and new system controller is now way down the inf table in third place at 18% while the loser and former system controller jumped under the previous bottom-of-the-pile faction and is now in fifth at 10.6%. I expect them to drop down to the single digits as I keep blowing up their planetary port with nobody below them to lose it to in another war, and since they're native there's no danger of them going into retreat.

I guess I should actually see about expanding an anarchy into the system, hahah.

Excuse me, what will happen if the control faction retreats? Any experience?
