One additional cosmetic skin selection option I hope to see eventually be implemented is the convenient ability to have a batch of dinosaur eggs produced within a cosmetic set based on Jurassic Park/World Movies and Media.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 would allow players to incubate dinosaurs with many cosmetic options, all of which have a varied set of skins and patterns for the players to mix and match to have 84 different looks for any species in the game. Some dinosaurs are given special treatment where they have additional skin options that would depict their appearance(s) in Jurassic Park and World movies and show. This is to allow players to have fun with the dinosaurs they were exposed to and build parks consisting of not only their favorite species but renditions of said species based on the franchise's history.
The incubation process is easy, simply choose the skin and you could get yourself a dino plucked from the franchise, such as Rexy from either 1993's Jurassic Park or 2022's Jurassic World Dominion, or Toro and Bumpy from Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. It is a one-and-done incubation process.
What I hope to see be implemented into the game is a selection system where it would make the process to incubate specific batches of dinosaurs much easier, specifically those with 2+ cosmetically unique members in a pack or herd. As is, random is too random where dinosaurs are incubated from all available skin options, and while the new favorite system that would be implemented sounds promising, it would feel like a process to have to close the current game to load up the species profile to modify the favorite selection and reopen the game again every time we want to have a niche set of movie/show dinosaurs incubated.
I think it would be great if we have a quick button to push when selecting certain media-based cosmetics in the Hatchery's genome editing menu, one that would link the chosen skin with other appropriate skin options to complete a set within a batch of eggs.
This would be useful for:
• Atrociraptor
(Tiger, Ghost, Panthera, Red)
• Baryonyx
(Chaos, Grim, Limbo)
• Parasaurolophus
(Lux 1, Lux 2)
(2022 A, B, C)
• T. Rex
(1997 A, B)
• Velociraptor
(Blue, Charlie, Delta, Echo)
(1997 A, B)
(2001 A, B)
(Tiger, Ghost, Panthera, Red)
• Baryonyx
(Chaos, Grim, Limbo)
• Parasaurolophus
(Lux 1, Lux 2)
(2022 A, B, C)
• T. Rex
(1997 A, B)
• Velociraptor
(Blue, Charlie, Delta, Echo)
(1997 A, B)
(2001 A, B)
It would also be convenient if the batch of eggs produced by this cosmetic selection would secure at least one egg per cosmetic skin. So when synthesizing a batch of velociraptor eggs with the Raptor Squad set selected, 4 of the 6 eggs would guarantee each member would be represented via cosmetic skin (1 Blue egg, 1 Charlie egg, 1 Echo egg, & 1 Delta egg), with the remaining two being randomized from the Squad skin options. This way you could always incubate a single batch of eggs and have all members ready to go from that batch.
A batch of synthesized 1997 T. Rex eggs as a result would always yield Buck and Doe, a batch of 2022 Parasaurolophus would have the 3 options represented in that batch, and players could secure their own Baryonyx trio from a batch of 5 eggs by selecting the three members based on the traits available. This process would be way more efficient than dedicating multiple hatchery bays per cosmetic skin, or even more when based on luck with the randomized skin option.
Thanks for reading!

UPDATE:
It looks like we could choose favorites on the genome page after all! I had a feeling it was only exclusive to the species viewer ever since it was brought up, this makes the process to favorite skins on the fly without needing to leave the game much much muuuuch better!
Thank you for this new feature!
