with the new fix coming i will have to figure out hwo to remove the changes Miago did well unless teh gaem automatic does it
This is why I miss groups back in the ATI days like Omega! The driver branches they made often fixed many of the niche issues that ATI would be slow to address.
Odd that it is only AMD GPUs (and only 6000/7000 series) having an issue and you are suggesting the onus is on Frontier to fix it...The ball is in F.Devs court whenever they decide to come out and play again.
... i saw what you did there...but I think both ED devs are a bit busy currently and resources to fix an issue in VR are highly unlikely to be released.
In my experience, it's not necessary to do that disabling of installation of device drivers from Windows Update. I have Windows 10, and it has never updated my GPU driver as long as I have any driver installed with the AMD driver software. But I have to disconnect my PC from Internet for the update process. I reconnect it to Internet only after the new driver is installed and my PC has rebooted.I had this problem when landing on a planet.
My solution :
- Reinstall amd driver
- and disable windows update automatic graphic driver update (who can replace your good amd driver by a bad one)
