Greetings Commanders.

Here today to share an information update with you regarding reports and discussions being had around Commanders experiencing stability issues, Orange Sidewinder disconnects and instances of incorrect texturing, after updating their AMD RX 6000 series card drivers.

Issue report: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/50184

The team have been investigating disconnect logs and issue reports over the course of some time and we'd like to reassure you that these investigations remain ongoing.

At this time we're aware that Adrenalin 22.7.1 is now available as a driver update version for RX 6000 series owners, however if you are continuing to experience issues following further driver updates, it is advised that you roll back to Adrenalin 22.5.1 as investigations continue.

As soon as we have more to add on this, we will let you know.
Thank you as always for your patience!

Have a great day o7

I'm glad I moved on after it became obvious the AA issue was not going to be fixed. My RX 6900 XT is working just fine with everything else I play, and I'm using the latest drivers.

that was just a crash, and the weird thing is that even the crash dump reporter tool crashed as well
Oh I see, i'd say that's a different issue then, i'd do a CLEAN gpu driver reinstall, use the cleanup utility or something similar, and check the rest of your HW! Can be unrelated

If it was an Nvidia issue it would be fixed!
Because NVIDIA would have fixed their broken drivers already?

This isn't a problem with the game - it worked with the older drivers, it works with drivers from other manufacturers, it works with wrappers for completely different graphics APIs - it's a bug specifically in AMD's drivers, exposed by a game that relies much more heavily on compute shaders than most.
