Interdiction now near impossible to evade?

Same here. I have the feeling it is a lot more easially now.

be in mind that it is easy to evade with zero cargo and getts harder the more you have with you.

but even with full 100 Cargo I have the feeling it is easy.

I've given up trying to evade so just; Throttle down, submit, no hull damage, kill warrant scan, kill = CR :)

Was testing out a pair of frag cannons and on my first outing got interdicted by a federal dropship - I think he regretted that :)

I have been interdicted once since this past weekend, and even with submitting to it, it was useless, the pirate didn't show up in normal space for me to Kwarrant/kill. I was truly disappointed.

If anyone has solid info on Interdicter class, ratings, etc, and the whole taking damage after successfully interdicting someone (No matter what the size / speed relation is... it's nearly random)

I'd LOVE to hear it!

Just ditch the ridiculous flight stick and get an XBOX controller. Gives you much more precision. I haven't noticed any increased difficulty.

PS - I've got a flight stick for sale.

I just did some quick testing... activating the interdicter at maximum range caused me damage, from very minor (1%~) to a cracked window and 5-6% damage.

I then did a couple where I cut the distance in half starting at the point the interdicter becomes active, say 100ls depending on your relative speeds, down to 50ls. I had zero damage.

I have a feelings it's maximum relative range that causes this damage affect. Probably in conjunction with the type / class of interdictor you have also.

Also remember the distance at which you can activate it is completely dependent on you & your targets relative speeds... so your 'overall' speed doesn't matter. Within a planets orbit you'll have to close within 100s of KM before it can activate... so saying "this or that" grade of interdicter activates at "X" distance doesn't apply.

Stronger opponents tend to be harder to evade, while easier opponents tend to be weaker with the shieldless Sidewinder being the easiest. Next time you're winning an Interdiction contest with ease, try submitting to see what it is and compare it to the harder interdictions.

I've found this to be true, as well. Granted, I do think they've tweaked interdictions lately because they're much harder for me to evade. My usual MO (esp. for a human player) is to fight the interdiction tooth and nail until near the very end, then submit with guns blazing.

I've found that if the interdictor seems easy to evade, I'll have an easy time with the fight. The only times I've been pulled out of SC unwillingly were beefy Anacondas picking on my tiny, little ship... and they've all nearly torn me apart.

Since launch, interdictions definitely dropped in frequency. I think I've only been inderticted in SC maybe 3 times. I was able to evade it, in my Adder, but the 'fight' was a lot longer than in Gamma.

That said, the past few days, the only time I've been interdicted is when I'm sitting still at a nav point/star, looking at the galaxy map. So, of course instant submission.

its impossible if you fly a hauler and you lose ship and cargo:mad::mad:
becouse the npc shredding the hauler in matter of sec...

btw thats not fun I enjoy trading not fighting..

Are you trying to trade in Anarchies? Should expect a bit of hassle there. Other systems are safer (not sure if some are safer than others).
