greetings everyone need some help please!

I used to play Elite dangerous Horizons with my Occulus VR......
When I used it I would change my screen resolution to min to help lower cost on cpu as I was in VR and not using my monitor.
However the launcher now only loads the top left corner leaving the rest of the page blank so I cannot follow steps to log out and log back in post carriers update.

When I click 'play' in the launcher a tiny screen pops up showing ED logo and loading screen then error pops up saying failed to connect to authentication server and an error in bottom left saying no valid machine ID.
When googling fixes I get the message on the launcher to log out and log back in but cannot do it as launcher will not load completely.

Please help any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated.
 
Yeah FD noticed that issue when they released fleet carriers.
Here is the fix the suggested.

It’s possible that some PC players may initially have problems logging into the Fleet Carriers Update.

If you experience an error message regarding Invalid Machine ID’s, please make sure you perform the following steps:



  1. Open the Launcher.
    • Click Options -> Log Out Machine.
  2. It’s really important to use Log Out Machine, and not just Log Out!
  3. Restart the Launcher, fill in your details, and log into game.
