Yeah. Just pick the bits that are interesting & ignore the rest

I resent this completely accurate observation.

Taxidermy fox agrees.
Well, taxidermy fox is long dead and badly stuffed, so doesn’t actually have a say in this thread! I would go so far as saying he would look better put in a decent grave than posted on the internet.

The internet's really gone downhill since it became easy enough to use that even those with some social skills could access it for sure.
SuperJanet
In the good old days, back in 90's, only people with IT skills could use the internet. Then we only talked about geek stuff. It was bliss.
I agree, it's just time wasting scrolling through it now.On the bright side, there are fewer complaints about wasting bandwidth now![]()

Now every person and their dog claim to be code monkeys to make their opinion better than all the others...In the good old days, back in 90's, only people with IT skills could use the internet. Then we only talked about geek stuff. It was bliss.
I agree to a great extent to what you say, although you need to remember that there are things members (like myself) have done in their early computer years which aren't going to be found during a Google search. To even reveal your real identity to any illegal activity (no matter how minor) would be suicidal given most of the software houses are still active. If you feel this is over the top, then hack a program to the point it deprives the original developer revenue and put your real name to it, and see the consequences. Now every person and their dog claim to be code monkeys to make their opinion better than all the others...
Indeed. Let me, for once, stay on topic. I have a dying theoretical question, mr Hat. In the hypothetical case I would want to give you stuff. How would we make that a possibility?I resent this completely accurate observation.
