I never realised Euro truck was so popular, yes some complain ED is boring, but surely ET must win that title.
To be honest, Euro Truck is a great game. I have over 100 hours played on it, and it really is Elite in trucks with an awesome internet radio and no combat. It's one of the more relaxing yet engrossing games I've played in many years. It's huge following is not a fluke, it's really a fantastic driving light-simulator with really good progression and light RPG / business management features. And the devs are fantastic, FDev could learn a thing or two about road maps and communication from them honestly. The post launch support for ETS2 has been some of the best of any devs I've ever experienced.
I know I'll be buying American Truck Sim on day one simply because the devs have earned my respect. If it's as good as ETS2 then it will be worth every penny, if it's better then wow.
