Is server down for others or just me (May 2nd 2025)

Was anyone able to reinstall the game after the recent fixes? I tried fixing by reinstalling and keep getting the "incorrect manifest checksum" error.

Actually one thing worked for me...
i went to internet options and only deleted temporary internet and website data, no cookies or anything..., just the temp files

and the now the launcher works again

Why should we reinstall? Fix it and push an update if you need to. Reinstall steam and the launcher? LOL So bad. And why is this right before the weekend, AGAIN.

For those who are having issues, go into internet options in control panel and click the delete button and then click the delete button in the window that appears which should delete browsing history, cookies and temp files and relaunch the ED launcher and press play and it should work.

Thanks, this helped. Game is now able to reinstall.

It's some bizarre ****. One of my charaters can enter, the other can not. Both on Frontier launcher (have not yet tried the Steam and Epic accounts).

Tried that. Didn't work for me.

Yay, finally able to reinstall. Coincidently after going control panel, network & internet, Internet options and deleting stuff as suggested above.

I am back in - someone on the other thread suggested opening the versions option on the launcher and clicking whichever version you wanted (even if its the one already highlighted) and then ... it works. Well, did for me. gl.

This just worked for me now. I tried it a couple hours ago from a years old thread and no dice. So ... weird lol

Can confirm! Only deleted temporary internet files and I'm finally back in.

Back to hauling steel.....
