This is probably why instead of worrying about making a build that can let you leverage your skills to win fights, most players just build ships to prevent losing them. This is probably why the Corvette is overly represented, when in truth the T10 is more deadly to anything medium and below.

I'd say Vulture. It's easily the most accessible ship for 'serious' PvP, and performs well without extensive engineering. Cheap rebuy, can be fully outfitted for 20,000,000 or less, excellent handling characteristics.

Fill it with armor, chaff, and weapons of your choice.

Go fight.
