Is there anything the Cobra Mk3 can't do?

No, but it can still go faster than a lot of other ships.

Though since the iCourier is my other favourite small ship, I won't rag on it too much. It doesn't have the same versatility as the C3 however. 60t of cargo space for example.
No argument from me. My iCourier carries a whopping 4 tons of cargo, and fully loaded it knocks 70m/s off its top speed. If I've gotta haul more than that, I can expand it to 8 tons in a pinch. It's just easier to switch to my clipper though for real hauling.

Well, it cannae look as cool as me Viper MkIV

(the Viper is kinda trash but I hardcore stan my ugly baby, it's done me well).
I flew the V3 for almost the entirety of my time from beta until the iCourier was released. I can't bring myself to sell it, so she stays in the mothballs at my home system. I would still prefer to fly it over most other ships in the game as well.

What can't the CM3 do?

Convince me to trade down from a Krait.

I recall, on my main account, I bought a CM3 as soon as I could and then I stuck with it way, way, longer than I needed to.
I upgraded to an AspX, nearly lost it the first time I flew it and then went back to the CM3 for another couple of months (this was back in the days when it took a week or so to earn Cr1m) to ensure I could fully upgrade the AspX before I flew it again.

Seriously, surely it wouldn't be that difficult to set the game up so that only small ships were legal in certain systems, or when systems were in certain BGS states?
Given that credits are now so easy to find, most players miss out on the progression through different ships.
If there were systems where you could ONLY legally fly a small ship, it'd give players a new incentive to revisit small ships and build them into fighters, traders, haulers miners etc.

Yup. This.

Small- only facilities and activities would be a game changer. Albiet knowing FD, the reward would either be 2b credits for picking your nose, or 2t of biowaste for punching god in the face.

Id punch god just for the rep reward (while picking my nose, pay up)

I'm pretty sure there are systems with only outposts though.

I thought about making my alt account a Cobra III only account - until I remembered that the Cobra III's two utility slots are on the underside of the ship.

I do like having PD cover when I visit a Guardian site.

So can a Cobra III take you to a Guardian site? Sure. Can it help keep you alive once you're there? Not so much.

Never needed to use my ship's PDTs at guardian sites. Never died at a guardian site.

But i am a god in the SRV.
