Ís this laziness or I don't understand something?

Vette with 4 limpets on station A, got with Apex Interstellar to station B and now this.

Well what about just deleting the cargo remotely, even with some cost to it, it makes sense at least to me.
When you can transfer the ship and get rid of the cargo why you can't just simply delete it?
Good point there, I guess that would come handy.

Also an idea...
This could be implemented into Apex Interstellar or similar concept/entity:
Imagine you could hire an NPC to deliver your cargo some place else for a cost with range limitations (similar to Apex Interstellar). This might eliminate the problem entirely as a whole. Sure it might broke some things but with decent cost and range balance it might work well.

So you want to play Planet Elite?
In that case, beg FDev to develop one.

Sorry for late reply but...couldn't they make a game called "Planet Planet" and we get tools to make all kinds of planets, and the "Planet people", in the "planet coaster/zoo/dinosaur" games can populate them? I'd buy that.

I wouldn't mind an Elite Manager / Planet Elite type of game.
And i would most probably buy it.

But Elite is not that type of game

Remove FTL comms. Problem solved.

Technically, in the lore there are no FTL comms.
That's why we have data courier missions since making available system's data in other systems is possible only if the said data is transported aboard a FSD equipped ship by a commander (AI being banned in Elite)

Unfortunately, this was kinda nuked with multicrew introduction which i still find multicrew as one of the most disturbing gameplay compromises, even more than speed limits and visual range combat.

Getting Palin messages while being 5000 light years out in the black is not helping either

Which never made a whole lot of sense, since the faction contact tat gave you the mission can contact you after you've jumped into the target system with delivery bonus or incoming enemy messages. Not to mention followups on those if you don't make the bonus time for whatever reason.
