News Issue with extremely inflated mission rewards!

Well, a fun fix to the massive mission rewards could be to add the amount over 30m to the rebuy cost till the excess amount has been paid.

So...something that wasn't fixed during beta? What is even the point of having a beta if you ignore bug reports?

This is FD and they do this every-time.... granted Bugs may be hard to fix, but their track record is crap, and yes we still have bugs that have been in the game over 2 years and were identified in the Beta at that time, so just continue to play and hope for the best.

Not sure if the lower of these was legit? It's a long old flight (100kls) which I thought was the reason for the high payment, 11m seemed reasonable for my efforts.

Are there even cabins with 20+ First Class slots?

The crash caused to my PC as a result of this KNOWN BUG has caused my Launcher to go t***s up! The Start highlights ok and after clicking on it, it comes back as if nothing has been asked of it. Stupid game code messing many of us around. Fix your game Frontier and for Pete's sake do it soon. Your rep will suffer if too many people complain about bugged code being deliberately released on us the player base again!

I hope when the rollbacks happen, it's not just totals of 30M and above are looked at, but the time period in which the credits was earned. e.g a 100M+increase in assets or credits over a 12 hour period is pretty suspicious.

So check assets/balance pre 2.4, check again 12 hours later and if it's over a threshold reverse the credit gain and remove any assets obtained in between times

Not really. If you're allied with several factions and do passenger missions, is very easy to do 100M in 12 hours. Hell, if you're lucky with the boards you can do that in 2-3 hours (even less if you're really efficient).

Dear developers, with a 100500 billions missions i also noticed an increased payout for passanger missions, when the location is far from the star (for example i saw 30mil. reward for a passanger mission in a system 15 light years away, but 90.000 light seconds from the star).
Is it a bug or a new mechanic? Can we use it?

Yes I think distance to star is the multiplying factor here

Those missions only show up (at least to me) if I’m allied. And it takes quite a while to reach the destination, is not like is a 5m mission.

Credits removed

So are they removing credit for completed "inflated" missions? I am pretty sure I am about 30 million credits short of what I was last night when I logged off. Is this how they are going to handle it? I did a hour long supercruise only because the payouts were relatively high. I assumed it was a reward for cruising .14 lightyears. I feel kinda cheated. (Then again, maybe I am wrong and dreamed how many credits I had last night! :)
