It still looks like alpha

And as a footnote, I think perhaps the culture is sometimes a little unfair.... lets face it boys and girls, what was it Churchill said?.... "You can please SOME of the people ALL of the time or, You can please ALL the people SOME of the time. You will never please ALL the people ALL the time".

So.. What in the black do you all expect? get a grip on your reality circuits and check the power levels!
Fly safe !

The problem is that this is not about pleasing people. Pleasing people would bee adding a cool new feature or new ship or something. This is simply about releasing a version of the game that is clearly not a release candidate. This is still an alpha build at best. The game is unplayable on my end and I have one hell of a beast pc. It comes down to poor optimization and unfixed bugs / graphical issues. In short... it's a hot mess.

I believe you would need about a 3080 to reliably hold 60fps at 1440p regardless of settings. So you fall below that sadly.

Honestly, it seems like in some unknown situations, models and textures aren't loading in at the right LOD (level of detail)

It happened to me during phase one of the alpha, and everything was super janky (as some people have shown, really weird crumpled paper like models etc)

Then that went away, but I still sometimes get a less bad version of that happening sometimes for a few moments, but to be honest, that constantly makes me wonder if some level of it is happening all the time.
These are just such models and textures. Not bug

Still can't get a drink at the bar, or sit down. NPC's are basically in the same positions, doing the same nothings. Terminal menus in ports are still different to everywhere else (can't use mouse). DSS scans fundamentally useless for finding the now sparsely scattered life on planets and moons (I have found NONE (0) so far - despite a lot of searching). All the ports look fundamentally the same with all the same shops - You should at least be able to tell whether you are in Imperial, Federation or Alliance port. Independent ports should be show some differences to each other. Still no on-foot delivery missions (where you don't have to return to the same B%^$£y place every time. Still no pad sizes shown for settlements (looking forward to not being able to set down with my medium ship because no medium pads)! etc.

But you can buy these gorgeous skins!

This is all what frontiers did after the alpha. BUY IT!!

Why? Because frontier remove 80% environment elements on planets

Now there are only flat textures and very rare stones and organic
I've seen some big forests since release (I think I've actually seen BIGGER forests). But I feel like there are less rocks. And the rocks were making the surfaces look a lot more real. Haven't explored enough to be sure. I hope the SRV racers didn't win the day.

Alpha? This is an early beta and we are unpaid beta testers.
But I don't want to complain. At least we have a lot of fun in the forum now, joking around how awful this DLC is and laughing about the misfortune of other people who are stuck in an Apex shuttle and so on.
